The Lost Shepherd

We have a wonderful time at the Lost Shepherd. Our kids absolutely loved the game room! Very peaceful and a beautiful cabin.

The house was great with a lot of space and plenty to do. The beds were comfortable with plenty of linens. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Lost Shepard was fabulous!!! Every detail upon our arrival set our mood. Super clean and so pretty. The view and wildlife were fun. We saw turkey and deer every day. We explored Blue Ridge and Ellijay. We took our grandson to hike his first waterfall. Winery visits were a must. Highly recommend going to Roo Vineyards. Loved spending time with our youngest daughter and her family. Having a few days with them and our grands left our hearts full. We will definitely be back.

My family and I stayed at the lost Sheppard for spring break and it was wonderful. the cabin, views, and amenities were top tier. The process from booking to check out was simple. The lost Sheppard is great for families and friends alike.

Jenny's place was great! The cabin was beautifully decorated and very clean. The games were a hit as well as the large TV's for watching movies. The furniture was comfortable and the hot tub was relaxing. We'd love to return for another visit.

Everything about the trip and cabin was great. The only thing I would change would be the directions to get to the cabin. Had a tough time finding it the first night.

I’ve rented cabins for more years than I want to admit. Always enjoy the cabin experience. This trip was a special one, and even after a last minute cabin change due to the original property being sold by the owner we couldn’t have been happier with the selection we selected, The Lost Shepherd. It was located in a new gated community that had a small number of properties, which was great. The overall cabin was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in! It had decks on all 3 levels, all the outside amenities you could ask for. We were only able to use those briefly as the result of the snow and super cold weather. Which is one of the many reasons we want to return to this cabin. Inside was a great layout, that was super clean, well kept, and stocked with anything you would need to relax, cook, grill, watch movies, etc. We look forward to returning to this property in the future.

The cabin was beautiful and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It felt peaceful, well kept, and easy to settle into.The downstairs game room was a huge highlight. With the arcade games, the big TV, and the blackjack table, it became the perfect spot for the family to hang out and relax.The directions to the cabin could have been a little clearer. We had a hard time finding the place at first, and thank God customer service was able to help us get there.The only issue I ran into was the fire alarm going off while I was cooking breakfast. The first morning I thought it might be the hash browns, but the next day it went off even when I only made eggs. It was a small inconvenience, but worth mentioning.Overall, the cabin was amazing and I still enjoyed the stay. I would come back

Huge, beautiful cabin with more than enough room and things to do. We spent a lot of time in downtown Blue Ridge which was a 20 minute drive. The whole area is very nice with tons of things to see and do.

The Lost Shepherd was the perfect getaway for us with young kids. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We were excited to see deer, turkeys, woodpeckers and a raccoon :)

This cabin is just perfect. It has great open space on main floor for cooking, relaxing in front of the tv, or playing games at the table. The outdoor fireplace and tv is the star of the show providing many great hours enjoying the outdoors. For more relaxation the hot tub on the lower deck was clean, hot, and ready to be enjoyed. The kids loved the video games on the lower floor. Beds were super comfortable and bathrooms were clean. We will 100% be renting this house again. The community is gated and roads clear. The only catch is that the propane tank is not guaranteed to be filled upon your arrival. Not a huge deal as you can run to exchange it right down the road. Just would like that to be called out so you dont show up expecting to grill a feast before you might have to run out and exchange. Again, not a huge deal, just inform future guests so they are prepared. Thanks for a great long weekend!

Great stay! Cabin was spotless, which we really appreciated. Very well stocked with everything we needed. Only about 25 min to Blue Ridge so we loved the location. Would definitely stay here again.

We visit the North Ga/NC area frequently and rent cabins there 3 or 4 times a year. This was one of our favorites! It was very clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. We prepared most of our meals in the cabin and had everything we needed. The layout was perfect for our family of five (2 adults, 3 teens). We especially enjoyed the outdoor areas. We could only stay 3 nights this time but wished we could have stayed more. We enjoyed downtown Blue Ridge as well as biking. You can easily bike trails, gravel or road right from the cabin. There is also public access to Blue Ridge lake not far from the cabin. The weather didn't cooperate for us, but we did bring our paddle boards just in case. We would 100% stay in this cabin again!!

My family and I loved this house! There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Sitting on the many porches/balconies was such a treat. We used the hot tub and game room daily. The TV in the game room is massive and my kids loved hooking up their switch game to play on it! If you are looking to go tubing, one of the best spots is right down the street. There are many restaurants in Blue Ridge which is about a 20 minute drive from the house. I highly recommend this place and hope to visit again.

The house has an amazing layout and plenty of room for everyone to have privacy. We will definitely be staying again!
