Sunday | Closed

Please note an arrival email — with driving directions, door codes, all passwords needed for your stay from start to finish, and checkout instructions — will be sent 5 days before your arrival date. If you cannot find this email in your inbox or junk folder, please contact us at info@ablueridgevacation.com or 706.632.7100.  If it is after hours, please call  800-684-7865.

What time is check-in? Checkout?

Check-in starts at 3:00 p.m. for Vacations for YOU Rewards members and at 4:00 p.m. for all other guests. Check-in is guaranteed by 6:00 p.m. We highly recommend checking in before dark so you can find your cabin easily. Be sure to print out your arrival email just in case and follow the provided directions as GPS doesn’t always work in the mountains.

Checkout is at 10:00 a.m. If you haven’t checked out by then (unless approved prior), you will be charged for a half day’s rent. Please respect the next scheduled guests by being prompt when departing to allow our housekeeping crew to come inside and start cleaning the cabin.  Please follow all departure procedures before you leave.

Is there a minimum night requirement when booking my stay?

Yes, all cabin and house rentals have a 2-night minimum requirement. Please note:  Some rental properties have a year-round 3-night minimum requirement.  There is a 5-night minimum requirement for major holidays — 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. There is a 3-night minimum for Valentine’s Day, the entire month of October, and all minor holidays.

Do nightly rates change throughout the year?

Yes, peak seasons and holidays are subject to higher nightly rates due to increased demand.

Pro tip: book midweek for top-tier savings year-round!

Is there a minimum age requirement to book?

Yes, you must be 25 years or older to make a reservation for any vacation rental listed with A Blue Ridge Vacation. Please know you will be asked for identification before check-in. We ask that parents do not book a property for their children. The person who books the vacation rental must be present at the property for the duration of the stay.

Is there a down payment when booking?

To make a reservation, you can book a Blue Ridge Mountain vacation home or cozy cabin rental online or call our office at 888.452.9567 or 706.632.7100. We will need a valid credit card at the time of booking to hold your cabin with a down payment of $250. The deposit will be charged as soon as the reservation is made to confirm your reservation.

Please keep in mind this amount is deducted from your stay total, and the remaining balance will be due 30 days before check-in.  This is an automatic charge on the credit card provided at the time of booking.  If a new card needs to be used for final payment, it will be your responsibility to contact the office before the 30-day auto charge.

What payment options are available?

We accept all major credit cards — including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover — when making a reservation online or over the phone. We do not accept personal checks or cash under any circumstances.

What is vacation rental damage protection?

As part of your stay, you are required to purchase a vacation rental damage protection plan designed to cover unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that might occur during your stay.

The policy will pay a maximum benefit between $1500-$2500 depending on the tier you choose at booking. Any damages that exceed this amount or are not covered under the plan will be charged to the credit card on file. If during your stay at one of our rental properties an insured person causes any damage to real or personal property of the unit as a result of careless acts or omissions, the insurer will reimburse the insured for the cost of repair or replacement of such property.

Please contact the office for more information if needed.

How is my reservation confirmed?

After making a reservation for one of our cabins or vacation homes, you’ll receive a rental statement by email. This statement will have your name, the vacation rental you booked, all rental fees, and info on how to contact our office.

It’s your responsibility to ensure you have all the proper information for your stay and everything is correct. In the event your rental statement has missing, incomplete, or incorrect information, please call the office immediately to make any necessary changes before your stay. If required, you will receive a new rental statement with said changes.

What happens if the vacation rental isn’t available after booking a reservation?

In the event of double bookings or if the cabin is no longer on our rental program — which are both rare occurrences — the renter will be notified as soon as possible. A Blue Ridge Vacation reserves the right to relocate guests into a different cabin within our rental company or with another company with properties in the area. The renter will have the option to accept the replacement cabin or receive a full refund.

Do I have to sign a liability release form to keep my reservation?

Yes! We will send a liability release form through StreamSign via email — and you must sign and return it to us before check-in. No exceptions.

How can I book a last-minute vacation on the same day as my arrival date?

If you are making a last-minute reservation for the same day, please call us at 888.452.9567 during business hours to secure your reservation. Our online system is not able to secure same-day reservations at this time, but we would love to host your spontaneous stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If it is after business hours, please contact us at 800-684-7865.

Can I bring more guests than the property can accommodate?

No, every cabin or house rental has a listed maximum occupancy that can not be exceeded for safety reasons — and by law. Any violation of this rule may result in an automatic charge and possible eviction.

Can I bring my pet to a non-pet-friendly vacation rental?

At vacation rentals that are not listed as pet friendly, we cannot accommodate any size or type of dog, cat, or any other pet. If we find evidence of a pet at one of our non-pet-friendly properties, there could be an automatic $300 charge, and immediate eviction is possible.

If you want to bring your pet to the Blue Ridge Mountains, check out our pet-friendly vacation rentals! It only costs a small additional cleaning fee plus a pet fee of $20/night. And it’s so worth it to spend time with your fur babies…instead of leaving them with costly sitters or at boarding facilities.

Is smoking allowed at your vacation rentals?

We have a strict NO smoking policy at all of our cabins and vacation homes. Smoking inside any of our vacation rentals is an automatic $250 charge to your credit card on file — as well as any additional charges necessary for cleaning and smoke removal. You may smoke outside on the porches or decks, but please do not dispose of cigarettes in the yard area or in our woods as this can cause dangerous forest and/or home fires.

Will I be charged for cleaning expenses after my stay?

It depends on the situation. We kindly ask that you respect the property and take care of it as if it were your own home. Our cabin rentals and vacation homes are beautifully furnished and well-kept, and we wish to keep them this way. The cleaning fee included in your total stay is for a standard clean after your stay. If the property is left in a highly unclean or unsanitary condition, we reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning expenses.

Are there any firearm restrictions? What about fireworks?

We have a very strict firearm policy — discharging firearms or weapons of any sort at any of our vacation rentals or adjoining properties is strictly prohibited.

Our company insurance and homeowners require this due to the high potential for severe injury, property damage, and devastating wildfires. Any violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of all rental monies. Violators will also be reported to local authorities for an unlawful discharge of a weapon.

Itching to shoot on your vacation in the Blue Ridge Mountains? Noontootla Creek Farms Hunting Preserve and Range is close by at 3668 Newport Road in Blue Ridge, GA, and can be reached for scheduling at 706.838.0585.

Fireworks are prohibited due to fire hazards as well as insurance and community regulations. Any violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of all rental monies. Violators will also be reported to the local authorities.

How do I cancel a reservation?

To cancel a reservation, you must call our office. You will then be given a cancellation number. Afterward, you must send an email to info@ablueridgevacation.com with a cancellation letter — including your name (as the renter), your reservation dates, and your reason for cancellation. Our cancellation policy does apply to last-minute bookings as well.

  • All cancellations are subject to a $25 processing fee.
  • Reservations canceled with less than a 1-month notice are subject to a $100 fee.
  • Reservations canceled with a 2-week notice forfeit the $300 security and damage deposit.
  • Reservations canceled with less than a 2-week notice — and/or no-shows — are subject to paying all rental fees.
  • No exceptions.

Do you supply firewood?

We provide firewood to some properties during fireplace season — October through March. Additional firewood is not provided for firepits; however, guests may choose to use supplied firewood for firepits.
