Welcome to The Goathouse, a 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom cabin in Ellijay with room for up to 8 guests. Set among the trees in Walnut Mountain, this North Georgia retreat is made for slow mornings, game nights, and evenings spent listening to Turniptown Creek. A screened deck with a fireplace, an outdoor hot tub, and a creekside firepit give your group plenty of reasons to stay awhile.
Inside, the living room opens to the kitchen and dining space, making it easy to share meals and spend time together. The main level has a Smart TV and electric fireplace, while Golden Tee 3D and Pac-Man games are close by. Downstairs, the rec room has a pool table, dartboard, wet bar, and seating for the next round of friendly competition.
The sleeping arrangements include a queen bedroom and a bedroom with two full beds on the main level, plus a king bedroom upstairs. A futon in the lower-level common area adds flexibility, while the maximum occupancy remains 8 guests. Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, and parking for up to 3 vehicles help make the cabin a comfortable base for a longer North Georgia stay.
The screened deck works like another living room, with seating, an outdoor TV, and a wood-burning fireplace. After a soak in the hot tub, take the outdoor steps toward the swing and the firepit beside the creek. You can see and hear Turniptown Creek from the designated seating area; direct water access is limited. Walnut Mountain also offers community pool access, subject to third-party availability.
When you are ready to explore, spend a day around Ellijay or discover more of the North Georgia mountains. Please note that the driveway is steep and the cabin has interior and exterior stairs; the route to the creekside seating area includes a long outdoor staircase and sloped ground. The primary renter must be at least 25 years old.

A++++. Amazing new build home located in a very quite perfect location. Jenny is amazing with great communication. The home is located just outside of Ellijay with just a short drive to town. The home is stocked with everything you need. Plenty of space with plenty of games within the home. The view from the porches are amazing looking down at the creek, and the back porch with the fireplace is perfection! Well worth the book! Malcolm's

We loved our stay at The Goathouse & had a nice, relaxing time. The host was great & provided detailed information & details. The sound of the creek from the back deck was lovely. We really enjoyed having a separate space for the game room. It made the teens feel like they had their own getaway area. The back deck is a great hangout spot too. There’s a lot of different areas to hangout… living room, game room, back deck, swing out back, the creek, fire pit, hot tub, grill deck, just lots of options. We were comfy, had everything we needed to stay occupied & just felt right at home. It was a very peaceful & enjoyable time. We appreciate that it’s also dog friendly so our baby loved her stay as well. Downtown Ellijay & some apple farms are maybe a 10-15 minute drive from the cabin so we were close to everything. This cabin was perfect for us & we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
