Sweet Seclusion

This was a very nice and comfortable cabin.. Very easy self check in and the drive wasn’t bad at all and yes it is private and secluded which was nice as well. It was a great relaxing weekend, played arcade games, even saw a deer in the backyard. I wished our stay was longer.Jenny was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had, definitely planning to come back.

We enjoyed a quite, relaxing stay. It is a very comfortable cabin.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was very clean, neat, and well-organized, with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. It’s in a quiet, private, and safe neighborhood while still being close to great restaurants and food options. The hosts were super responsive and communicative, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

Excellent vacation rental. First class commodities and ample supplies. One suggestion is to move the thermostat from the kitchen area in order for more even temperature through out the house. All in all we will recommend to others.

the back deck was dreamy. which is where we spent most of our time. the showers were huge. the kitchen had everything we needed. it seemed expensive. it was a holiday weekend so that is probably why.

This place was amazing!!! Had a great view!!! I loved the bed in the loft and the view I had waking up. Got some of the best sleep I've had in a while. The place was pretty clean for the most part. There was some cookware and dishware that were pretty dirty and the floor seemed like it hadn't been mopped, but not something that would keep me from coming back. Overall, a very pleasant visit! You always worry about the location, amenities, and presentation of the rental in person comparing to the photos & descriptions. We were pleased with the cabin, when we arrived. There was plenty of space and very nice. It was after midnight, so getting the key and finding are way was not hard, thankfully. We did have to call the office the first morning as the fireplace wouldn't work and there were some workers painting the back porch, when we got up. We weren't happy to not be able to go on the porch but this got cleared up and they finally left. And once we returned that night from our outings, they had come and fixed the fireplace. The view from the back porch was beautiful. We enjoyed using the hot tub too.

I searched long and hard for a cabin that would look beautiful inside and out, with a great view, and had plenty of positive reviews. One of the most important things for me was "am I going to be able to make it to this location for my first time in the mountains?" The answer is YES! We got to the cabin and were just in awe at the cabin as a whole. Clean, cozy, a wonderful big kitchen, big and open rooms/loft, and an AMAZING deck that overlooked the mountains. I couldn't have been more happy! There were many places within 30 minutes from this cabin that we could go and do... downtown blue ridge (a cute little town with great restaurants and little shops), wineries, and just lots of nature! The check in process was easy and the front office lady was super nice and helpful in giving me directions and suggestions for things to do! I love love love it and my best friend, the Bride, and all the other bridesmaids did too! Really, I don't think I'll go look for another cabin, and will probably continue to go back to this one if I ever need to relax! Thanks so much!

Reviewer Comments: Honestly, I was really scared I was going to show up to some cabin in the woods who's pictures hadn't been updated, was in shambles or smelled, and was a complete dump. What I got was the complete opposite. IT WAS SO NICE! Pictures are true! Looks like the house was build around 2010 and as all modern day amenities. BEAUTIFUL house. Homey. SO CLEAN. Perfect distance away from town, while still being about to run an get milk if you need it. The house is in the back roads, which eventually turn in to slope-y gravel and dirt passages. I wouldn't cram any more than 6 people in this cabin, but it was PERFECT for a couple's getaway. The managing company was super nice; I never really heard much from them (a plus in my book, I don't like to be constantly called or emailed). Check in/out was SO quick and perfect,it almost didn't seem authentic, BUT IT WAS. I WILL CERTAINLY BE RETURNING!

The cabin is in a beautiful location with great views and as someone with OCD when it comes to cleanliness, this cabin surpassed my expectations. The pictures don't do this cabin justice as it is immaculate. Our only complaints is that the hot tub should be on the same floor as the master and the basement could have been finished, but it looks as though they don't have much left to complete. Additionally, the neighbors were somewhat close to the cabin and their dog was a little intimidating (and we have a boxer), but neither negatively impacted our stay. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this cabin for anyone looking to have a getaway in a beautiful secluded area.

It is on a bumpy dirt road which might be a problem if the weather is less than perfect. Also we got the impression that it was secluded-well, it is to some extent. There is another cabin close to it. Not really a problem but it isn't sitting on 5 acres with nothing for miles around!

This cabin was perfect for our needs. It was a great size and the property was even better than described. Everything was clean and well kept. We checked in on Sunday and even though the office was closed, they provided us with everything we needed and were very kind. We didn't do much exploring while in the area but we were just a quick 10-15 min scenic drive to everything we needed. I would definitely come back again!

The hot tub was very relaxing with a great view. Would like to see hot tub on deck by master bedroom. The basement took me back to my younger years with the arcade games. This is a place and this is the cabin we will visit again. The management staff were excellent. We highly recommend this cabin!! A couple of things for the owner to consider: move the grill under the porch for cover from the rain and that will also allow for light at night to cook. Burners need replacing in grill. Again, we will be back to stay at this specific cabin! So relaxing Mike

It had everything we could possibly want and was so clean and neat that we felt like we could eat off the floors! My kids loved the hottub and video games so when we weren't out and about in the mountain town, we were enjoying cabin living to the fullest. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for location is because we didn't feel like we could hike anywhere directly from the cabin. We had to drive to hike and it would've been perfect if we could've hopped on a hiking trail close to the cabin.

It was our second stay there and our fifth rental from A Blue Ridge Vacation (fka Kaylor Mountain Cabins). As always, the cabin was spotless, beautifully appointed and equipped with every convenience we could think of. We have come to think of Blue Ridge as our favorite place to unwind and relax with beautiful scenery. As foodies, we especially appreciate the continuing improvements in the restaurant scene. The newest fine dining restaurant, the Black Sheep is superb. Blue Ridge Brewery and Harvest on Main are also excellent.

The only reason we didn't give 5 stars pillows and beds are not the best quality, actually they were cheap and difficult for us to get comfortable on them and smoke alarms needed batteries so to keep them from beeping they had the fuses tripped and lights in bedroom were usable. Nice deck, and responsive staff when I had an issue with the fireplace.The property suggests seclusion, but there is a neighbor that you share a driveway with. We also had a small issue with the linens, the flannel sheets for the master bedroom had those little pills all over them and we elected to sleep in the loft. Overall, a wonderful place! Great view!

We also enjoyed the hot tub on a couple of occasions. The cabin was beautifully furnished and the kitchen well equipped. The local restaurant scene is much improved since our first stay in Blue Ridge about ten years ago and two of the four restaurants we tried were excellent.

The scenery is beautiful. My only negative that I can give to this whole experience is that the road was not paved. I was not aware of this. The cabin is definitely a drive from the city. The cabin is in a good location approximately 10 miles from downtown Blue Ridge. The cabin was very clean and well kept and we would readily go back and stay again. The deck with picnic table and rocking chairs was very pleasant and a great place for breakfast or just relaxing at the end of the day with a nice glass of wine. This is a great place to relax and enjoy yourself and I would recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed ourselves!! We only gave it a lower rating because of confusion about the amenities. For the price we paid we thought we were paying for a hot tube and all working video games. Jenny was very nice and helpful.

The cabin was so well equipped, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. We felt like we were truly in "sweet seclusion." Highly recommend for a family getaway.

Even though I cancelled my reservation, I was charged for the visit anyway. In my conversation with Noah I began by asking for a cancellation due to hurricanes in my home area. He said I could get a refund or move it to another date and that November and December was the best time to go due to light business. I told him I would get back to him regarding my choice of refund or rebooking. When I attempted to rebook in November I was told by Nichole that I was not getting a refund because I didn't show up for my original reservation. I have been cheated out of my payment. You should be ashamed and legally prosecuted in. I am looking into litigation.
