River Bend

What a fantastic home to celebrate our family trip! The location was perfect for our family coming from NC, TN & FL. The home was spacious, the amenities were great & the mountain views from the porches were amazing. Would highly recommend this home for a family vacation!!

This was our second year staying at River Bend. The layout of the house with the large common area on both floors and the 2 suites on each floor was perfect for our family traveling with three generations. The house is well appointed, clean and comfortable. The location is close to downtown, hiking, boating, tubing, etc., yet feels very secluded. We will definitely return as it is a family favorite.

It was the 1st time we could go as adult siblings and spouse trip. The cabin was beautiful and spacious and the surroundings were fantastic. We saw deer and turkeys roaming around and lots of smaller wildlife. We also had snow. We are from South Florida and a couple of us got our first experience with the joy of a snow fall. We enjoyed the indoor fireplaces every day and played games for hours at the dining table. We left a couple of games as a gift to the cabin and future guests to enjoy. It's a great location and close to town but far enough out that it's super quiet and peaceful. We were sad to leave after such a wonderful time. Lots of pro reasons to rent this cabin. The only cons we found to be were there are no closets or dressers for the downstairs guests, and there was not enough cookware, pans and serving dishes to accommodate the amount of guests. Also- use Google maps or Waze to get there. If you're looking for peace and quiet- we would recommend

This is a beautiful home and very clean! My family and I had a great stay and would look to stay here again. The rooms are very spacious and loved the high ceilings on the main floor. Plenty of room for 8 adults and still had two beds to spare for more. Kitchen was equipped very well - we enjoyed and ate in every day/night. Absolutely beautiful outside as we stayed a full day by the fireplace on porch and had dinner on the balance with room for all 8 guest at the large outdoor table. Spa was wonderful as well and warm upon our arrival.

The house is beautiful. The inside is very clean and nice. The open space is great for groups to chat. The furniture is comfortable and clean. The large dining area easily held our group of 9. Beds are comfy. And the downstairs common area is fabulous. We had an incident with the fire alarm system and that was quite an unfortunate hour. It did cause some concerns, of which I shared with Jenny. Regardless of that, my sisters and I would love to return to celebrate my mom’s 84th birthday! I highly recommend.

Beautiful home- very modern but also gives you the cabin vibe feels you want when you’re in blue ridge. The house is close to downtown blue ridge. The hosts were great with communication and super helpful. We will be staying at this cabin again.

Host and amennitiea were responsive and fantastic. Only recommendation is leave more than two trash bags. We could have used one maybe even two more. Also, fyi the outlet in the bathroom wasn’t working. Maybe just reset the GCFI? And there was a rodent or someone crawling in the walls. Lolol. Hope it was just a rodent. Haha. It was heard In the downstairs room with the twin beds attached. Loves the place. Will def come back.

Great amenities, fully stocked kitchenware, plenty of room lproperty managers quick to respond and easy to work with!

This was our second stay at this property. We always enjoy how the clean and inviting the home is. It’s so enjoyable to sit out when it rains and be able to stay dry under the coverings.

We make a trip every year after Christmas and this house might be our favorite! Great views, fun layout. All round fit our family perfectly!

We had an amazing weekend at this cabin in Blue Ridge! It was spotless, cozy, and had all the comforts of home with beautiful mountain views. The host was welcoming and made everything easy. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway—highly recommend!

The cabin is beautiful! The kitchen was well stocked and the additional bunkbed room was perfect for my kids.

Our stay at River Bend was fantastic. The space, the amenities, the porches, and the quiet were our favorites. My husband and I met up with my parents and my cousins as a fun weekend getaway. We all said we would love to come back again some day.

One of, if not the best, cabin we have rented. We love outdoor fireplaces. Hot tub was good too. Enjoyed the shuffleboard and the beds were comfortable. We found 4 items in need of repair and shared that with the rental company.

We had a wonderful girls trip celebrating my 50th Birthday. Everyone had a great time. Thank you for allowing us to stay at this beautiful home.

This luxurious cabin was perfect for our family. The home is beautifully furnished, the layout is conducive for multiple families/kids or couples and the location is close to downtown Blue Ridge and Blue Ridge Lake. We especially loved the outdoor spaces and spent most of our time on huge, wrap-around deck. Plenty of space to gather together and then to spread out. We are already planning another trip back up to stay in this luxurious retreat.

My family stayed here for my birthday/Easter. The house was perfect for the six adults and two grandchildren. Great amount of room for everyone. It was spotless and decorating was beautiful. Everyone that I talked to was so helpful and easy to work with. We look forward to coming back.

Stunning home. Perfect for our group to each have their own cozy king size bedrooms. We really enjoyed the porches and hot tub. Close to town if you do decide to leave.

Loved the cabin inside and out. Beyond accomodating for 8 ppl. We hikes, e played, we sat by the fires, and enjoyed the hot tub. Wonderful weekend. Thank you!

Place was simply amazing. The house was exactly as advertised and then some. Evenings on the deck and time in the hot tub looking out over the tree canopy were just great.

Fantastic place for a long weekend getaway. Multiple fireplaces inside and out. Great internet and very well stocked place. Looking at booking for next year.

Everyone had enough space and we felt like we were on our own mountain!

We were a group of 4 couples. Everyone had a large room with king beds. Great outdoor spaces and fully equipped kitchen. Couldn’t have imagined a better stay. Bring your food and some extra firewood and you’ll have no reason to leave.

The surrounding hill provided numerous opportunities to see deer, turkey, and from the house balcony saw a mother bear had her two cubs. The house easily accommodated 7 adults and a 8 year old. Bathrooms were large and the two balconies had sufficient chairs to accommodate everyone. There are plenty of activities to select from in the surrounding area. We enjoyed tubbing on the river, pontoon boating on Blue Ridge Lake and riding the train in an open passenger car on a two hour round trip. Gathering numerous branches lying on the ground provided plenty of wood to toast marshmallows at the fire pit located 50 yards from the house. Two live 9mm rounds and one spent casing next to the fire pit bricks were found and removed immediately.

Great place. Enjoyed it. One thing that was pretty disappointing was the fact the Master BR has a memory foam bed. Was hoping to get some good rest on a nice bed given the spend for two nights and discovering it was a memory foam bed when lying down on the first night was really disappointing. Everything other than that was great with the house. Highly recommend ditching the memory foam in the master and getting a nice, standard bed as this caters to the way most people prefer to sleep.

Property was beautiful. Clean and spacious. Only concern is there is no light on side of property where you park so if you go out at night, you can’t see the steps or how to get to the trash cans.

The property was gorgeous, beautiful views and easy to find. Check in was seamless and quick. The only issue we had was we should have booked longer because I hate I couldn’t stay a couple more nights.

Beautiful house in Blue Ridge. Closer to town, with awesome views, this place is very tidy and equipped with everything you need. Everything was nice and clean, great beds and a espectacular bathrooms. CFY is a great host. We had a great stay!

We met friends here to spend some much needed catch up time with them. we loved the very thoughtfully laid out home and decks. The town was great, had a fabulous meal at one of the very popular eating spots, and loved the area. Our drive took us through some spectacular foliage for fall. It did turn out to be quite a drive from our location at one of the beaches is SC but we were glad we went. our only issue was the main level, when we wanted to play cards/games the gas fireplace was not working. we did appreciate you sending a tech out but when we turned it on, the pilot light went back out so we just left it. we really enjoyed the deck fireplaces and had a wonderful time. we would love to go back if we have an opportunity. Probably we would pick a stay in-between so the ride is not so long! Do thank the owners! we forgot to leave a note in their book!

Absolutely stunning!! This home was a dream. If you are debating on booking do it. Beautiful, clean, private, and relaxing. We would love to stay here again. I would recommend bringing extra blankets if you are staying in the cooler months as there are some provided but we preferred to have extra on hand. The fireplaces were wonderful to have and the hot tub was spotless. I do recommend anyone driving here to plan shared and get there before dark. It is up a rather steep hill/climb and in the dark it was a little scary. In the day time however easy drive and we got used to it quickly. The home is close to town and a winery is nearby. We loved it would stay again.

This home is absolutely beautiful. Modern and clean. It was just at as the pictures showed. There was everything in the home that you needed and it was very clean. Checkin was easy with no problems. This was my first time renting an Air bnb so I didn’t know what to expect throughout the process. The scenery was beautiful in an ideal location. This is a home that I would definitely visit again.

We couldn’t have loved our stay more. This property was immaculately cleaned, everything was brand new, beds very comfortable, great bathrooms/kitchen and hot tub very well cleaned. We definitely want to stay here again in the future!

The cabin is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. However, The outdoor patio furniture could use a good cleaning and spray for spiders. The inside really needs to be completely dusted and better job cleaning floors. Everything was dusty, from the pillows on the couch to the rugs, it was just floating around in the air. We opened the doors several times to air it out. I would say the dirty floors and dust was the biggest drawback. The cabin is beautiful and in a great location. The two story layout was perfect for our family and we enjoyed walks down the road. Overall it was a nice experience. We love blue ridge.

Customer service was quick to respond and friendly. The home was exceptional, but sparsely equipped. Would have appreciated more homely touches like aluminum foil, olive oil, etc. Overall good experience.

Our overall experience was good. We had issues with the power going out on the downstairs bedroom immediately across from the stairs. And there was some concerns with the flooring in the bathroom across the aforementioned bedroom. Not sure if it was the way the concrete was painted or if it was cleaned good after the previous occupants. On a separate note, there were many cobwebs on the premises. Barring these few issues, we enjoyed the experience.

Home was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable with almost everything we needed. Great location—10–15 min from boating, hiking, tubing. We loved the abundance of hooks in bathrooms, bedrooms, and entry—such a thoughtful touch often missing in rentals.The drive up to the cabin is steep and could be tricky at night. We were fine in a 4WD truck, but our friends struggled in a minivan—worth noting.The management company was slow to respond. The check-in time was unclear—listing says 4pm, but communication suggested as late as 6. We arrived close to 5, didn’t hear back, and just went in—luckily, it was ready. Would recommend updating the listing to avoid confusion.Tips for future guests: grill is connected to a gas line, towels are provided for the hot tub, and supplies like trash bags & TP are minimal—bring extras.

Based upon the photos, we (6 women) were so excited to stay at this beautiful home. Of particular draw was the amazing deck, furniture and hot tub. We brought our own food to grill and enjoy the patio, along with relaxing in the hot tub. Well….. the patio was filthy, the furniture was stained m, thick pollen everywhere, along with cob webs. I called the office and they said they needed 24 hr notice to send someone out to clean, which to us wasn’t acceptable. Anyway, we cleaned it up to the best of our ability. Then we get a call that housekeeping was on its way. I declined as we had done the best we could cleaning and just wanted to grill and eat. The next day, we decided to use the hot tub, but only two (2) jets worked. Again, I called the office with the same response - they need 24 hour notice. I said “what good will that do when we are leaving in the am?” Fast forward an hour later, they want to send somebody out. We were already gone and heading back for dinner. Again, didn’t want the disturbance during dinner and our last night. Also, the dryer wasn’t working properly to dry clothes. The inside of the home was lovely and I have no complaints. However, for the price we paid, the exterior should have been clean and the hot tub should have worked. The exterior living areas are highlighted in their rental descriptions with beautiful photos. However, these lovely photos are not reflective of what we got. Very disappointed. Also, I was told pollen was normal and should be expected. This was more than pollen - this outdoor area hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while and the furniture had stains all over it. Very disappointing….
