Blue Ridge and the Mountains in North Georgia are stunning. Have you ever taken a sip of a really good glass of wine and felt that warm sensation blanket your body? Move down your spine? That’s what it felt like at The Dav Den; breathing the mountain air satisfied the soul.I looked forward to coffee on the screened in porch in the morning and wine by the fire pit at night. My kids screamed with delight when we first arrived. The queen size bunk beds, a hot tub and Jenga! Oh my! They didn’t need tv or iPads. The days provided adventure and the nights provided quality. During the day we hiked the falls, explored town and played in Lake Blue RIdge. At night we fished in the pond behind the Den, did family movie nights with popcorn, and hunted lightning bugs. All which the kids loved.We’re already talking about when we can go back. Maybe in the Fall to horseback ride the Appalachian trail? Maybe Thanksgiving to see the leaves change? Maybe Christmas to ski? Maybe next summer for the rodeo? Regardless, we’ll be back. The Dav Den was easy and peaceful. I encourage all of you to check out this beautiful place too.
