Cabin was great and very comfortable. Very close to the river and was perfect for pets. Had great time and hope to get back soon!

We had a very nice stay with our two kids, super comfortable and cozy. Loved the porch and the hot tub. We would definitely return!

This cabin is absolutely amazing. Not only is it clean but also well stocked with a VERY comfortable bed. The hot tub and outdoor space is great and relaxing. We didn't bring our dog this time but had we done so, the property is well equipped and safe. There is a completely enclosed outside yard, as well as a sliding barrier for the front porch so if you were to let your dog roam free in the back yard and deck while you are in the hot tub they cannot leave the property. The host is very responsive and accommodating and we will definitely be back.

Loved the outdoor fireplace and the cabin furniture was gorgeous.

We enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed and more. The cabin was pet friendly and our Dixie Bell enjoyed the trip too. We saw lots of deer. We were not able to use the fire pit or outside fireplace because of the mandatory burn ban for Georgia while we were there. We would definitely recommend the place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Harley’s cabin. It definitely has a cabin vibe with all the conveniences of WiFi, gas fire places, and hot tub. It’s at a cul-de-sac right by the river with a creek in the backyard. Perfect for pets. We would definitely come back.

Perfect cabin getaway!

Wonderful As Always

This was our third stay at Harley's River Retreat. It is consistently a welcoming and cozy stay. We love the the beautiful cabin, the endless deer on the property and throughout the area. We always go to Mercier Orchards and get their amazing apple pie, we go over to Dahlongega and have lunch, we hike into falls and enjoy the beautiful fall foliage. Then we come back to the beautiful cabin with a fire, either outside or inside and enjoy our time there. We will be back!

We had a lovely time. The cabin was beautiful and the kitchen well stocked. We especially enjoyed the large porch areas with the rocking chairs. The 'air chair' is my new favorite thing! We will definitely return.

This was our second time staying at Harley's River Retreat and we had just as nice of a time as the first. The cabin is nicely appointed, cozy and comfortable and has everything you need, including daily sightings of deer on the property. Highly recommended. We will be back.

We will be returning!

Our stay at Harley’s River Retreat was nothing less than perfect! The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely return! From the peaceful river walks we took to the relaxing time we had in the hot tub to the quiet time we spent on the beautiful wrap around porch a fun time was truly had by us. I would recommend Harley’s River Retreat to anyone needing to get away to relax and unwind. Just bring your food and yourself, the cabin will do the rest!

We found Harley's River Retreat last minute for Columbus Day weekend. We stayed three nights. The cabin is very cute and the fact that they allow dogs at no extra charge is awesome. It even has a dog run to let your pet free in a fenced area. My dog loved being out there listening to all the birds and watching all the deer. The deck could use pressure cleaning and fire pit area some cleaning. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Space is great for a family of 4. Coosawattee River Resort is a great location with lots of amenities. There are deer everywhere you look. TONS! It was really cool to watch them all gather is groups. Takes about 12 minutes to get out of the resort from the cabin, but the winding roads are beautiful and all the deer keep you entertained on the drive. Owner is definitely a Harley biker. Named dog and cabin Harley and has cool decorations of motorcycles. We are also Harley owners, so that was nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location for a quiet stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is your place. Loved the sound of the creek behind the cabin and all of the deer. The cabin was located toward the end of a street that dead ended at the river, so very quiet. The cabin was about in the middle of the resort, so it takes about twenty minutes to get Ellijay. Very nice pet friendly cabin.

We chose this house because of the name - one of our dogs is named Harley. It was a great location to be able to explore the area’s waterfalls. A very relaxing vacation.

Very comfortable property

We found the home to be just as described with the surprise that the river is much closer to the home than we thought - just one house away. Beautiful setting, with the stream running behind the deck. The sound was very soothing! We saw lots of deer right out our door. The home was nice and very comfortable for 2 - 4 people.

Perfect weekend getaway

The property was really awesome. Quiet and secluded and overall very relaxing. Outside fireplace on the deck was a great addition. Only complaint is we couldn’t stay longer. Definitely be back in the fall.

Great property

Enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described. The dog run was adequate size for the dogs to do their business, as well as plenty of room on the porches to run around. Nice, quiet, and relaxing.

The only reason we rented this cabin was for the covered porch with the fireplace, which was boarded up, stating sorry for the inconvenience. It is a very nice place, very friendly deer!! Another thing the owners have some pet rules that are not listed on Airbnb site.I rent often and my pets are very well behaved and house broken..They have posted in the cabin no pets on furniture…so we blocked off livingroom.

Serendipitous!

The only reason for the 4star review rather than 5 is because the outdoor fireplace was not working and there was a burn ban so we couldn’t use the fire pit either, which we were really looking forward to an outdoor fire being from FL. We walked in to learn that “Harley” was a black lab that could’ve been the twin to our lab Tyson, who we lost earlier this year. Happy tears that our Bubbs was there with us in spirit made that cabin even more special. The cabin was clean, cozy and perfect for our weekend get away. Plenty of space for us and our other fur kids. The fenced in dog run was a perfect added bonus. Highly recommend!
