Peaceful River Hideaway

Beautiful location in ellijay! The house is tucked away at the resort with not much neighbor contact which we liked. The walk down to the river is strenuous but worth it for the views. The drive in was full of deer and wildlife. It’s a short drive to town and blue ridge.

The property was exactly what we hoped for: a great location, a comfortable setup, and thoughtful amenities that made the stay feel easy from day one.

Property was great and we enjoyed our stay. Our only slightly negative comment is that the info provided about the amenities center was inaccurate/ out of date. And the garbage day given was also inaccurate

Great place for a family reunion

Kids and adults gad a great time, very relaxing and peaceful place, everything as described, private and easy check in, walk down the stairs to the river is totally worth it!

Our stay at the cabin was truly exceptional. We were delighted to see numerous deer grazing near the cabin. The cabin itself was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. The location near the river and the outdoor fireplace provided a peaceful, serene backdrop that was wonderful for morning coffee and evening relaxation. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen fully stocked. The only minor drawbacks we experienced was the steep driveway, which required careful maneuvering and the hot water system. When more than one person attempted to shower simultaneously, the water quickly turned cold. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone seeking a beautiful, clean, and amenity-rich retreat.

Wonderful place to unwind and enjoy life. Full of nature- woods, trails, river. Great hot tub to relax in. Great restaurants, wineries and shopping nearby. Can’t wait to return soon!!

The stay was GREAT!! My family really enjoyed the experience. I only bad thing is that the shower on the 2nd floor leaks very bad down into the bedroom below in front of the closet. We had other bathrooms so we made due. PLEASE CHECK THAT OUT BEFORE THE NEXT GUEST.

So peaceful and quiet. Just as pictured. Great spot for my son’s 17th birthday weekend with several of his friends. It is a hike down to the river (as pictured) but as long as you’re prepared for a cardio workout it’s great. They took advantage of the amenities and played pickleball at the recreation center. Didn’t have to communicate with the hosts much but when I did they were responsive.

Such a wonderful and nice place to vacation with our family. Eleven of us were accommodated so well and felt comfortable the whole time. Everything was so clean! Other than the narrow and winding roads through the resort to get to the house we enjoyed our week long stay! Deer everywhere and turkeys, too!

We all have fallen in love with this cabin and property. Was a very relaxing and “peaceful” long weekend and wished we could have stayed much longer. Very well kept home with absolutely everything you need for having a large group. Well stocked with ample enough dishes, towels, toiletries and added some extras even. Super easy checkin and out. We ate already trying to look at dates to return.

Outside fireplace, hot tub, kitchen fully equipped, very clean, multiple balconies and three bathrooms with one on each floor. The stream was awesome too. The scary driveway.

Quiet environment! Being that I’m from the city, the slim roads were a bit scary to drive on but other than that, location was great

The place was really nice, really enjoyed the porch area, a TV outside would be great for movies!

Everything was great. I would have liked access to more fire wood.

The toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom had a paper on it stating it was clean, when I picked up the lid there was fecal matter all over the toilet seat. The same downstairs bathroom had a shower head that had literally no water coming out due to the type of shower head so the guests in that bathroom had to shower upstairs in another bathroom that other guests were using. It took multiple days for our name guest information to be sent to the company that allows access to the community. Each time we went to the gate box it was 10 minutes of discussing with them and showing them proof that we rented a cabin in the community. The kitchen needs to be stocked with more cookware/bakeware. Only one tiny cooking sheet pan and only one bowl for mixing.
