Mountain Therapy

My sisters and I loved staying at the cabin! The host was very communicative and helpful, willing to answer any questions. We felt so at home and cozy in the cabin. I loved how peaceful it felt. We loved the hot tub, and the rooms were all nice. We noticed there were also cots and air mattresses available if needed! Perfect little getaway, would stay again.

We had an amazing stay at the Mountain Therapy Cabin! This is an amazing location, you feel far away enough away to enjoy the peace and beauty of nature and still get to a store within 10 minutes or less for any needs. We were near by many quaint and historic little towns. There are many things do do nearby for all. The cabin itself is cute and comfy, has an amazing jacuzzi and a beautiful firepit that when you look up gives you an amazing look of the stars. Will be back again!!!

The cabin was remarkable and one of the best stays I’ve had for my family. Very spacious and in a perfect location. Great amenities and the price was very affordable. The cabin made my family want to make it an annual Christmas trip.

We had an amazing time! The fire pit and the hot tub were perfect additions and made the place feel so cozy. We had everything we needed and we all slept comfortably.

Beautiful place ,amazing amenities.Was very spacious inside and out only thing is if you’re coming after rainfall during fall i would be prepared ,could not get up the drive way ,had to kick the leaves and wet /gravel mud off the driveway for a good 30 minutes to be able to get any traction going up.but would 100% book again.

This cabin was perfect for our family. CFY had all the amenities to make our stay at the cabin comfortable. Our family really had a great stay would highly recommend to anyone. I was really impressed by the unique cabin decoration inside.

Perfect for getting away and being off the main highway. We enjoyed our stay and perfect for two families or for a large one.

Went on a couples trip for my friends 18th birthday, and i can genuinely say the cabin was perfect. every room and bathroom has its own level, the basement was absolutely beautiful, the main living space was very spacious with tall ceilings, and each bathroom was spacious and clean (with a shower in each). the very top floor is where my boyfriend and i stayed in and it was wonderful being able to wake up everyday and sit on the balcony watching the sunrise. restaurants and activities are all about 20 minutes away from the cabin, and any fast food is about 30 minutes out. thankfully, we didn’t mind the drive. overall, absolutely wonderful cabin and definitely worth it!

Perfect location and perfect atmosphere. Everything was cleaned, smelled nice, hot tub was perfect , and our favorite place was the lower level. It was like a mini man cave haha. Definitely will be back! 10/10

Loved that there was snow when we got there. Cold downstairs. Needed more Linens for sure more silverware as well. But overall we had a great vacation!!

The only issues is the steep driveway and after the snow and ice we had concerns about going down the driveway without it being iced. But, the sun came out and it all melted away!

This place is beautiful. Bring a PRINTED map. Beware of the ditches and you’ll be fine. It’s a secluded little heaven. Definitely Mountain Therapy. Will be back.

My daughters and I enjoyed our stay. Cabin was clean and very spacious. We enjoyed the hot tub, watching movies and playing board games. It was the perfect cabin for a quiet, rainy but beautiful and relaxing weekend.

We had everything we needed to prepare and cook our meals, and the outdoor dining area was perfect for us. The cabin had more than enough space for our family of 6. The kids enjoyed the downstairs area and we enjoyed the master suite. The only issue we found was that sometimes the dust in the air caused our allergies to flare up. Otherwise, we have no complaints and would consider a future stay.

We had some maintenance issues and the management company responded immediately and correct all the issues. Keep in mind there is no large coffee maker in the cabin, just a single cup Keurig.

There were 3 couples staying here. Despite a tornado passing within an hour after we got there, we made the best of it. The owners responded immediately to come fix the little damage. The cabin came with everything we could have ever wanted and then some. The cabin is 10x more beautiful in person. The game room was a hit with the kids and the outside area was to die for. I loved how the bedrooms were on different levels so each family could have their own space. Would recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the Blue Ridge area.

It was superbly clean and well stocked. We were very satisfied with our experience and would definitely return. The stove, oven, and dishwasher were all in working order. The hot tub was fabulous and sanitary. I would like to inform future renters of the steepness of the driveway, though. I would also point out there is no garbage disposal in the cabin. Beautiful views and close to Almost Heaven where our parents and grandparents stayed for the weekend. Again, this cabin is not friendly for the mobility impaired like my 81+ year old grandparents die to the steep driveway leading to the cabin and steep hill leading to the other cabin, Almost Heaven and the stairs in both cabins.

The fire pit was great and we enjoyed the privacy.We were able to see a herd of Deer. The driveway needs work/should be paved. Low cars could not go up driveway due to the gravel drive.

I brought my daughter and her friends with me for a peace of mind and it gave us that. The hill was hard to get up ! I had to try like 3,4 times to get up there because of the leaves . ( considering that we arrived like 7 pm so it was pitch black ) . But even during the day when we left out and came back , it was trouble getting up that steep slippery hill . We didn’t get instructions on how to use the jacuzzi so that frustrated me because that’s why and what makes the price the highest . ( so maybe give instructions on how to use it instead of just warning them about the risk ) Other than that . It was a good time ! She wants you to put trash in the trash bin. She did say grab extra but I couldn’t find the ones she stated that she provides ( the black trash bags ) . Other than that , it was comfortable, cozy , and we had fun for a 2 day getaway. Thanks boo !

Cute little cabin. The driveway is steep and I could see how there could be some difficulty getting up to the house during rain or inclement weather. We had no issues. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. The furniture is older, but not terrible. Our favorite area was downstairs where we hung out and played games. The check in process was seamless and we had all we needed well in advance. (Address, door code etc). We would stay here again. :)
