Mama Bear’s Hideaway

We had a very nice stay and really enjoyed the peaceful setting, beautiful decor, and seeing deer around the property. The porch, jacuzzi, privacy of the pier and downstairs area, cozy living room, game area, extra towels and blankets, and having laundry available were all greatly appreciated. The hot tub was definitely a highlight and worked perfectly.There are a few maintenance items that would make the stay even better. Some doors were difficult to open or close, the mini oven did not work, and the toaster smoked when empty. The A/C was difficult to adjust, one lamp flickered, and the downstairs fan felt a little unstable. Water pressure dropped when several people used water, and the hot/cold controls seemed reversed. The upstairs toilet also leaked when flushed. The smaller upstairs room felt very tight, and the downstairs mattress sank in the middle. Overall, it was a charming and comfortable place with just a few areas that could use some attention.

This cabin was perfect for our family. Extremely clean, great central location and a lot of fun summer activities near by. Highly recommend this property.

We had a family of 7 and this was perfect for us! It was so fun to come home after a long day and get in the hot tub. Very nice to have the washer and dryer to clean our towels and bathing suits from swimming that day. It was only 15 minutes from Walmart. Check out was easy. They were so accommodating and we will definitely be back.

The cabin was very beautiful and we all had a good time. I would recommend to stay for anybody.

The house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed time together playing games and soaking in the hot tub. Kitchen was well equipped for our needs.During the day we visited an Apple Orchard, the dam, and road the rail bike in Blue Ridge.Thank you

I really enjoyed my stay and it was exactly what I was looking for. The back porches were lovely with a peaceful view and plenty of places to sit. The neighborhood was silent during the week and it got a little busier/noisier on weekend but the quiet hours seemed to be observed by neighboring properties. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need to cook meals.

We had the best weekend with our family. Mama Bear hideaway was a perfect fit.

We enjoyed this cabin for a short weekend getaway. The only thing we would say is the photos made the rooms look a little bigger than they were but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this cabin.

We love the cabin, it was a wonderful Christmas Day with my family, We went out one night to Blue Ridge town and it was just 15- 20min away. The cabin had everything we need. Thank you! 100% recommend

It was an amazing place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us(4 adults, 4 kids). We brought some card games of our own also but there were already several board games at the cabin. Our kids really enjoyed the arcade game. We had some storms that knocked the power out while were there, thankfully there were a couple flashlights there already. We did cook most of our meals at the cabin and found a lot of the pots and pans to be dirty and not coming clean when washed. Needing some new cookware would be my only complaint but we made do with what we could get clean. We would definitely stay at this cabin again.

Our four day stay at Mama Bear’s Cabin was very relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and at night enjoyed the fire pit. The cabin was very nice and well stocked.

Great cabin and easy to work with owners

Nice place to settle in and enjoy time with friends. A little bit of a drive to explore the areas around, however, also out of the hustle of the tourist areas to allow some good quiet downtime.

Very nice cabin with lots of room. Location was a close distance to many places, we went to Vogel state park, Brasstown Bald, swinging Bridge, Neels Gap. There were several Dig parks in Blairsville. Hot tub was great. The TVs are smart TVs so learn how to use them or you will get aggravated lol. Overall a great place

I made a blunder with calendar dates and they did the best to accommodate us without making me feel worse than I already did. Professional and kind. Did I mention pet friendly! We wanted a mountain getaway to relax and enjoy. This place had great atmosphere, great location. We had plenty of room, a nice little area to take walks and plenty of things to do at the cabin. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again.

We loved everything about this cabin! It is big enough that nobody feels crammed but small enough that it feels quaint and cozy. Everything (beds, couches) was very comfortable and the jacuzzi was fantastic! When we arrived, the cabin was very clean. Highly recommend!

Great cabin. We had the best time. Close to town yet far enough away so you have privacy. The cabin itself was clean and a nice layout.

Successful trip!! Cabin was beautiful and location was great. The thermostat stopped working for a while but the repair team fixed it the very next morning. Enjoyed every minute.

This cabin was a little further out than most we’ve stayed at but the drive was very reasonable. The cabin looks small from arrival but is very surprising on the inside. It fit our family of 6 very well. Would def recommend to others. I will say there was something in this cabin that made some of our allergies go crazy. I know there was a 40 day period that no one was in it so maybe we stirred up the dust. I would also recommend to the owners to update the welcome book to include details of how to unlock the hot tub and information regarding the WIFI. Great cabin, awesome stay!

Had a fun stay here! Everything looked just like the pictures shown and Jenny was super responsive! The only issues we had was the downstairs room and areas had a funky smell. Other than that we enjoyed our time!

Our Stay Was Enjoyable & Just What We Needed. I Brought My Fiancé For Her Birthday & She Loved It. The Only Issues We Had Were With The Invasion Of Scorpions We Encountered The Entire Weekend. They Came Into The Shower Downstairs, The Hallway Downstairs, Upstairs Near The Dinner Table & Someone Who Stayed At A Near By Cabin Their Dog Got Lose & Ran Up On Us While We Were In The Hot Tub Friday Night & Tried To Jump Into The Tub With Us. That Was Not A Happy Moment. Other Than Those Events We Enjoyed Our Stay.

For what we paid I was severely disappointed with the toilet paper and coffee maker. The individual cups were great but it was cold upon brew. The cabin was great though
