Mama Bear’s Hideaway

Our family of four had a wonderful time at Mamma Bear’s cabin. It’s very comfortable, clean and peaceful. Our active family spent most of our days on excursions-hiking, bladesmithing, waterfalls, boating, Brasstown Bald. It was nice to come home and jump in the hot tub. We thoroughly enjoyed the mornings birdwatching, from the porch. Make sure you follow the directions provided in order to get to the cabin. We would love to come back.

Everything was as advertised. Perfect destination for our families to enjoy each other and all the wonderful things the area has to offer.

A great place to go with the family. My daughter loved the hot tub and having the room with “the view”. I would definitely come back. It literally had everything you could need. Just needed food and toiletries.

We loved sitting outside as it was so peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Right before getting to the cabin, the roads are steep and narrow.

The cabin is beautiful, with an amazing view!! The home is spacious and the beds are so comfy!! The hot tub was also a great bonus! Highly recommend this place!!

The drive was so easy and scenic. Me and my girls enjoyed the hot tub and the cozy living room.

We had the coziest of stays in this cabin! All the amenities of home plus extras. I swear this cabin had the best view of the mountains no matter the time of year. Gazing at the scenery as we were sitting in the jacuzzi while watching the snow fall…..icing on the cake. The rental office girls and the owner of the cabin are exceptional to work with. I made a blunder with calendar dates and they did the best to accommodate us without making me feel worse than I already did. Professional and kind. Did I mention pet friendly? We will definitely be booking again for another cabin getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at Mama Bear Cabin so much! Our family of 8 celebrated Thanksgiving and made memories there that will last for a lifetime. Before we left we were already talking about coming back next Thanksgiving. The things we loved most were the views, the outdoor decks and jacuzzi. There were plenty of extra blankets for the colder nights. The beds were comfortable. We had mostly everything we needed or we needed to cook our Thanksgiving meal. The upstairs was great for the adults to relax and the downstairs perfect for the kids to hang out and play. We ventured out and went on a few hikes snd had so much fun finding walking sticks. The location of the cabin is great for quick trips to the grocery store which was only about 15 minutes away. The seating in the living room was a little snug for 4 adults to relax comfortably but we made it work. We would definitely recommend staying here to our famsily and friends. We had an amazing time at Mama Bears Hideaway! It was the perfect size for our family; the area was perfect and the hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking. We will be back for sure!

The place was great–great view, very spacious, would recommend to anyone for family/friend getaway. We also got more phone service than expected but WIFI is also provided if needed.

We had a blast at Mamma Bear’s Hideaway. A family of four with both kids under 8 and a dog, this was the perfect location to relax and take in the North Georgia mountains. Close location to downtown Blue Ridge and also Aska Road and all its activities. Would recommend this cabin to anyone, plenty of space for bigger families and the entire cabin was very nice.

The stay was not long enough so we’ll definitely be coming back for more. The cabin looked small but was much bigger than expected which was a plus. The beds were comfortable and the decor was the cutest.

We filled this cabin with 6 adults and 2 kids and had a blast. The cabin is gorgeous and has every amenity for our stay. The BRV staff was very nice and attentive. 8 Miles to Blue Ridge and festivities and the beautiful area can’t be beat. We will be back, sooner, not later!

This was a much needed getaway. We come to Blue Ridge cabins many times a year and always enjoy our time. This cabin was a little further out than most we’ve stayed in but the drive was very reasonable. The cabin looks small from arrival but is very surprising on the inside. It fit our family of 6 very well. Would def recommend to others. Great cabin, awesome stay!

Wow! What a great, quiet, homey place. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere but also not too far from the action. Everything is within a 30 minute drive. Te hot tub is a great addition, even at 1AM at 34 degrees! I will definitely be back!

We booked a weekend with a few other friends for a quiet birthday to celebrate my 40th. The cabin did not disappoint. There was plenty of room, an incredible view, and tons of amenities and a great location. The cabin was decorated for Christmas and that just added to the charm. Hot tub was a fantastic bunus, kitchen and bathrooms were all fully stocked. ! Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone and would book again. We are already planning a trip in May.

I just wanted to send this review to let the owners of Mama Bear’s Hideaway cabin know that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The drive up the mountain to the cabin was beautiful and the location was great, not far from Blue Ridge and surrounding towns with plenty of things to do. The cutely decorated cabin was efficient and clean. The cabin has everything you need for cooking, entertainment and relaxation, hot tub, laundry facilities, grill and fire pit – just bring your personal items, you can’t go wrong!The cabin was very spacious and was set up for either a stay there by yourself or with a group of family or friends and feel very comfortable. There are multiple seating areas and multiple bedrooms that provide plenty of space. The two levels of the cabin provide the homie upper level where you fell like you’re in an old fashioned cabin of yesteryear and the lower level gives plenty of space for hanging out with a separate TV area that was set up perfectly for kids watching TV, movies or gaming. The cabin is spacious enough for everyone to m ove around and kids can be playing without bothering the adults who could hang on the first level deck. All the doors had adequate locks to ensure safety for families. The two layer deck was very safe and the railing very sturdy and safe for children.Overall I would rate this cabin a 10 out of 10 for a great family gathering especially since the holidays are coming up. I know that we will be back to visit again and enjoy the peaceful surroundings that the cabin’s location had to offer.

We just wanted to get away for the weekend and this fit the bill nicely. The cabin itself is very nice and pretty close to everything in the area that you will want to visit.

We came to Mama Bear’s Hideaway for a relaxing weekend and we were very impressed with it. The cabin is in a beautiful location not far from town with a great ride up the mountain curves. The front of the cabin is very deceiving, it looks small but when you enter the front door, you enter another world. The cabin is decorated with a real home feeling, just enough decorations that you get the feeling of home but in a cabin. The cabin is very roomy and had everything we needed for our weekend and more. Sitting out on the large deck downstairs with the fire pit, the amazing mountain view and the fresh mountain air made the entire weekend a huge success. The hot tub was awesome and felt great after hiking to the waterfalls! We are very glad that we rented this cabin and we will come back again for sure
