Knotty Pines

Cabin was as advertised. Quiet and comfortable. Driveway to roadways a bit tricky as there has been washing. Warning there is only a single lane road up and down the mountain so 4 wheel drive vehicle is best. WiFI was also a bit weak and lost Altogether in 6 hour power failure during stay. Cain could use a generator or stock or candles and flashlights

This place was just what we needed. The porch has a screened in and open area for grilling, theres a small swing and cornhole underneath for family fun. Luckily the fire pit was already set up perfectly which is great because otherwise we wouldnt have had a fire lol. The hot tub was great! Im not sure why there are reviews mentioning it was difficult to opperate a the buttons are straight foward with temp, lights, and jets. The abundance of towels, kitchen accessories, extra bug spray, flashlights and more was so thoughtful. We felt like we had everything we needed in case we forgot something. Heads up i would bring water bottles with you if you dont enjoy drinking from the tap as there is no other option for water. Notes for the owner: -Upon checking in we weren’t previously given the passcode to the door and had to find a spot with service in order call and get access. Was no biggie for us but would have been more helpful to have it sent prior to arrival. -a flat pan for cooking eggs, bacon, pancakes etc would have been helpful but we got by with using the large pot. -the departure clean up asks to place trash outside in the trash bins otherwise there will be a fee, but we were unable to find these bins. If the location of the bins could be specified that would be awesome Overall we didnt mind the few hiccups at all, was nothing to ruin our trip but just a few things to point out. We felt so welcome, cozy and had pretty much everything we needed. Thank you!

Went for a long weekend with my girlfriend and had a great time. Close to blue ridge and many attractions. The mountain it was on was beautiful, even spent a few hours just hiking around the roads and down to the lake. Had every plate/pan/utensil needed which came in handy for making pizzas and cookies. Will definitely be coming back.

Received prompt information and even received a phone call before arrival

Drive to the cabin was up a steep mountain. Was nerve wracking as the road was big enough for just one vehicle most of the way up, but the stay was nice. We ran out of gas for heat the second night and they took care of it right away.

The cabin is amazing, cozy, comfortable, and has everything you need to have a fun get away with whoever you take. The only 2 things that were ehh, the drive up to the cabin is a 1 car road all the way up. Then the hot tub wouldn’t get hot for us, it was maxing around 95-96 when it said it could get up to 104. Other then that it was GREAT!!!!

It was a pet friendly property and with the wrap-around porch with locking gate it surely was. The dogs could roam the porch and even enter the screened room and home with no worries of them getting away. It came with all the expected items, but a battery in the flashlight would have been nice. Initially the WIFI and the hot tub did not function. Being an engineer helped as I was able to determine that the password had been changed from what we were given, back to the default pw on the back of the router. Several back and forths with the property manager finally got the hot tub into the proper mode and it heated up enough for one night. An instruction manual for the tub would have been a huge help. It is an active area of new construction and we had daily noise from a new cabine going up nearby. The night darkness and quiet were wonderful for relaxing and sleelping. The gas fireplace worked well, but next time I will look for a property with a real wood burning fireplace. We played corn hole with the very nice equipment under the back deck. The cabin was nice and comfortable. The hot tub was a little dirty, but awesome. I planned to grill, but the propane tanks were empty. Had i known that i would’ve brought mine.Also it said there were trash cans outside, but didnt find any. Overall it was very relaxing and we enjoyed it.

Good time had by all. Well stocked for anything you might need for a quiet relaxing visit to the mountains. Fireplace was enjoyable after a little trial and error getting it to light. Wifi was a huge help since phone service is spotty.

Awesome spot at the end of a small gravel road. Very quiet area and amazing 3 level cabin. We recommend to anyone looking for a similar spot.

Our family enjoyed this property very much and would recommend it to others. We are a family of 4 with a dog. It really fit the bill for a cozy atmospheric relaxing stay. I appreciate the holiday decor and entertainment options on site(cornhole, board games, movies). One tip-make sure you bring your own hatchet/axe and or firestarters.

Perfect weekend getaway with my fiance and dog. Nestled between Ellijay and Blue Ridge in a small wooded community. I had a fine tie getting up to the house in my Honda Civic. There is a cute lake in the neighborhood that is within walking distance of the cabin. The gated porch and covered patio were perfect for grilling and watching the rain.

Would highly recommend to anyone looking to disappear for a while

Knotty Pies is 15 minutes from scenic Blue Ridge where you can find local grocery stores, great restaurants and scenic views. While Knotty Pines may not have the best view in the neighborhood, it delivers in many other ways! Between the relaxing hot tub, well stocked kitchen and the enclosed porch you’ll find no shortage of ways to wind down and relax. Please be prepared to arrive before sundown because the road to the cabin is steep and can only accommodate one car at a time in most places. (yield to downhill traffic). Also, be prepared to travel up to 45 minutes to some of the top attractions in this area such as Fall Branch Falls and the Swinging Bridge.

This place is so cute! We visited with our two small children and they couldn’t get enough of the small loft above the living area. Would definitely stay here again.

Knotty Pines was a fantastic cabin tucked away in the woods. Hot tub and fire pit were awesome.The cabin is perfect for two couples with no kids. Excellent porch area, the frill is fantastic and the entire outdoor area is incredibly peaceful. Be aware that the drive up the mountain is a little nerve wracking the first time up, but once you get there you are in a haven of rest.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! Perfect location, great price, very clean and has everything you’ll need. The hot tub was very clean as well!! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would love to come back.

The cabin was perfect for my small family (1 adult, 1 child and 2 small dogs). The wrap around porch has a. locked gate so the dogs could be “free” on the porch and I didn’t have to worry about them. taking off. There is a cute swing under the deck that my daughter loved. The fire pit was great and there was plenty of dry wood to use. The hot tub and loft area were major plusses. My daughter loved her “secret place”. The only negative I have is the road to get there. It is very steep and winding; you need to have your wits bout you getting up and down. I arrived in light rain and was very nervous about going up. However, I am a pretty good driver and the more I used the road the more comfortable I was. I would certainly hesitate to book here for the winter due tot he road, though I absolutely plan to come back. We had such a great time here!!

We had a great time at Knotty Pines and found it to be perfect for our group of four. We spent time cooking meals and enjoying the outdoors as well as exploring downtown Blue Ridge.

Great hot tub, close to everything we wanted to do and still secluded.

The cabin is super cute and has everything you’ll need for your stay! Extra blankets, towels, wood and plenty of dishware. It’s definitely bigger in person than I anticipated from the pictures so that was a great plus. The area with bean bags is basically a loft and is big enough for 1-2 people to sleep if needed. There was plenty of seating by the fire. The only downside was no covering for the hot tub for rainy weather but we had brought our beach umbrella and propped it against the fence in the corner and sat under it while it sprinkled and still had a great time. Definitely loved my stay here and would recommend eating at the Pink Pig at the bottom of the mountain. They have a great staff and even better food!

Our family really enjoyed our time here and if returning to the area would gladly stay again! The cabin is beautiful and cozy, convenient to Ellijay and Blue Ridge but in a quiet mountain neighborhood. Loved all the thoughtful touches. Great place to relax and unwind. We especially enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub. Will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at this adorable cabin! The porch was amazing to drink coffee on and we spent some evenings inside by the fire. Close to many hiking areas! Pet friendly was a plus, but do note the additional fees that are in the listing. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great location to visit all the cool spots around Blue Ridge. The cabin is small but comfortable for couples or a small family. It was clean and well kept.

The cabin was beautiful, all was nice and peaceful. The view wasn’t what I expected and I was disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t on the porch which would have been much nicer. Overall everything was great

This place was amazing! It was true to its description on line. When we got there no key was needed, they gave a passcode, which i find convenient(no fear of losing or bringing home those keys). The place was well maintained and cleaned. The management gave detailed instructions on everything so you will know what to expect. If it’s your first time avoid arriving too late, it just makes finding the cabin easier. Definitely recommend this cabin especially if going with family.

Knotty Pines is a great little set up! Usually a real, quiet, sweet spot in North Georgia, but a few more noises this trip. Daytime construction. No biggie if you are out and about but 2 evenings were a little louder. The neighbor has 3 good sized dogs and when they weren’t fed just after dark the dogs went on a barking and kind of howling fit til their people got home to feed them I guess. Other than those 2 dog instances, what’s not hard to like? Comfortable, mostly quiet, great deck, hot tub, and a great little neighborhood to take a walk and speak with the friendly neighbors.

It was a wonderful time. Being in this wonderful environment helped my family and me to recharge our battery! Beautiful walks, a perfect place to enjoy Mother Nature.

Upon arriving we found the cabin just as described, very cute and clean. We enjoyed the front porch. Thank you for the citronella candle as it was very needed. Bad storm first night left us with no power in the morning so we checked out Ellijay. Power on when we returned. The beds were comfy but the recliners not so much. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Knotty Pines. Next time we rent we must have a screened in porch!

We had a wonderful time and the cabin was great. Everything was very clean and well organized. The cabin is in a great location. Just far enough back into the mountains that it feels like an escape from everything but also close enough to town so you can drive for supplies or dinner without needing to plan a whole trip around it.

Knotty Pies is a quaint retreat and perfect for relaxation and getting away from it all. This was out second stay at KP and we plan to go back again in the fall, perfect time for leaves changing colors.

My family (two adults, 2 teens) stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. The cabin is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and in a serene location. We loved it! Lots of good hiking within a short drive too!

My wife and I rented this cabin for a needed week long break. The cabin was welcoming and cozy. It was clean and well furnished. The kitchen was outfitted with plenty of dishes, cookware and utensils. There was limited cell service as expected in the mountains, but the wifi made up for that and worked well. We are very pleased with our stay and the helpfulness of the staff during the reservation and check in process. We will stay again!

It was a fantastic weekend. We got snowed in and it was beautiful. The neighbors are wonderful sand it was simply an awesome weekend. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

Took my girlfriend and another couple to Knotty Pines for a weekend getaway. The cabin was awesome and location was great! Nice and relaxing and the cabin was super cozy with plenty of firewood. A+ experience coming here.

I cannot say enough about how pleased we were with Knotty Pines. I am a “clean freak” and noticed immediately how clean this cabin is kept. Everything we needed was provided including firewood for the fireplace and outdoor fire pit. The staff at A Blue Ridge Vacation were professional and friendly. This will be our go to cabin when we are in the area. Property description was accurate and I have already recommended Knotty Pines to several friends and family.

Had a wonderful time during our trip, the staff was amazing the many times we called prior to coming up and when we checked in. Can’t wait til our next time.

We had such a wonderful time in Blue Ridge. The cabin company was very helpful and we are so happy we chose this cabin Knotty Pines. It was exactly what we needed. Close to downtown (about a 10 minute drive) and it felt very private and secluded. The cabin had absolutely everything. All you would need in the kitchen as well as board games, movies, corn hole and horseshoes. And the hot tub was wonderful. Can’t wait for our next trip back.

Just wanted to take a minute to review this fabulous cabin and management company! I don’t even know where to start but I will try! The cabin was perfect for us with two beds and one bath. Has everything that we needed inside and out. Although we spent most of our time outside on the deck and in the hot tub! We had s’mores by the fire pit and even played corn hole in the back yard with our boys! Even managed to hike down the hill & have an amazing lunch at The Pink Pig. If you’re wanting to unplug and get back into nature! This is the cabin for you!!

It was quiet, peaceful, beautiful and just what we needed. We relaxed on the porch with our coffee and enjoyed the woods. It was the best birthday surprise! We especially enjoyed the hot tub and they said the cabin was fully furnished. and it was, right down to the blender to make margaritas. We will definitely be back again.

We had such a wonderful time at Knotty Pines. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It is located in such a beautiful area that is very peaceful. You feel like you are secluded yet you are only about 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. We loved shopping and eating in downtown and enjoyed our relaxing time at the cabin by playing horseshoes, corn hole, sitting outside out on the deck and we of course enjoyed the hot tub. We will definitely be back!

This is a very cozy cabin overall, well kept and clean. Love the tranquility of the place and the hot tub next to the cabin.

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous! We liked it was very quiet. My husband was able to get some work done using the wifi. We took some lovely walks around the mountain. Everywhere was beautiful!
