Honey Hill

Great place to unplug and get away. This cabin is built like a fortress…not a single creaking board in the place. Nice quiet evenings and very clean. The kitchen is the best I’ve seen in a cabin. Pictures do not give the view justice.

Beautiful place

Honey Hill is an amazing vacation rental. The view is even better than in the pictures. The home was perfect and well kept and very close to mostly everything. The staff were very helpful and quick to address any issues we had and were very accommodating. We were so happy we even extended our stay and wanted to stay even longer after that but couldn't because it was booked. We were so happy with the experience that we actually made a reservation for another vacation rental on Cabins For You on the day before we checked out, for another 3 nights and we're not disappointed at all. Thank you again to everyone at CFY for not 1 but 2 amazing vacation rentals, and will be recommending your services and this vacation rental to all.

The home was everything we expected and more. Clean home with great views!!! We really enjoyed our annual Christmas trip at this cabin this year!!!

Great place to getaway with the family. Cozy well kept cabin and it was close to everything we did.

This cabin was fantastic. There was plenty of space for everybody. The fully screened in outdoor seating area was amazing. The cabin does not have sunrise or sunset views directly from the deck but don’t let that deter you from staying here. The view is still gorgeous with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy it.

Our stay at the Honey Hill cabin did not disappoint! We needed to get away. To unplug and hit the pause button. What a perfect place to do just that! We were able to spend a lot of time on the deck in the mornings and late afternoons enjoying the absolutely amazing view. For July it was surprisingly pleasant. In the evenings the sky was filled with stars. AMAZING. One of the things that surprised us the most was the silence. There was no traffic to be heard and even though the cabins near by had occupants, we never knew it. It was the most peaceful four days we have had in a long time! Did I mention that the mosquitos were at a minimum too! The cabin had all the amenities as listed and I don't think there was anything that we needed that wasn't already supplied. I loved the fact that there were lots of lighting options (including dimmers). We've stayed in other cabins that only offered bright overhead lighting - this was a welcome and relaxing change. The road up to the cabin is a short drive. While it is gravel and a little bumpy it wasn't too bad. Might be difficult for a very low riding car, but I think most vehicles could navigate it quite well. This was an absolutely perfect stay and I hope to book again in the future.

Property truly exceeded my expectations. The view is breathtaking. So many cool spots to sit and lounge. Stocked with everything we needed. Just a really beautiful home in a great city with a lot of gems. My only hiccup was prior to our stay we received soooo much spam texts, emails, messages that I thought was a bit excessive, but that is literally the only complaint I could come up with. Very happy and will be back for sure!

The home was beautiful with a great view. Everything was as described. I have no complaints and would book this home again.

This cabin deserves 5 stars despite the fact there was some work needing to be done. It appears they suffered storm damage and they have not completed repairs. The cabin has stunning views and the location is close to everything. Lots of space and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the views and sunsets. We have stayed in many cabins all over the area, but this cabin is the best. We think we have found our permanent vacation spot for Blue Ridge. I hope they get their repairs finished soon and replace the hottub which had been removed!!!

Beautiful cabin and fantastic amenities. Kitchen had Viking appliances which are second to none. Spacious and lots of places to hang out. Highly recommended. The only downside, which is no problem with the cabin itself, the road leading to the cabin was rough gravel and was difficult to get up after rain. Minor problem which didn’t affect our stay.

Beautiful home, chefs kitchen, bed slept great. Couldn’t ask for a better mountain home!

This is our second time staying at Honey Hill. And I am hoping to never have to look to stay any where else in this area again. The cabin is absolutely flawless. The views are amazing. Extremely clean. Everything you can possibly need in the kitchen to cook. All the appliances are first class. Love love love this place! I hope to be back many more times.

This house was fantastic! The views from EVERY room were phenomenal! For the last 8 years, we have started in many cabins in the Blue Ridge area. This was by far our favorite! Beds were so comfortable! Loved the automatic start fireplaces. ALL of the furniture inside and out are super comfortable. You could rock in the comfortable rocking chairs on the deck all day!! We chose this house because of the views. As you've read, the pictures don't do the mountain views justice! We will definitely be back.

I give this property 5 stars! It was beautiful inside and out. Was very clean and smelled clean too. The views were breathtaking. I only have a couple things I'd like to mention. The road up to the property is steep and curvy. Not that it was a problem but just in the way of an FYI. The road the house is on is a different story. Very narrow, dirt/gravel mix and full of holes and deep ruts. If we didn't have an SUV, we may have bottomed out. The garbage cans in the kitchen weren't emptied out from the people before us and the cans outside to put the inside garbage in was also full. That was really the only issue we had with this place. I would highly recommend it.

The cabin was beautiful and immaculate! We enjoyed the views and watching the deer. We shopped and dined in Blue Ridge. Due to rainy weather we didn’t hike as planned but the cabin was perfect. We hope to be back soon.

From checking in to checking out and everything in between, what a great experience. The mgt company was easy to deal with. Everything was set up just as described. Care and thought went into making sure our stay was top notch. The cabin was very nice, great views, well stocked, and easy to get to. We were comfortable and happy during the whole stay. Thank you.

Great pictures of the property but the actual house is incredible. We enjoyed the area up a twisting mountain road with wild life roaming all over. Plenty to do in surrounding areas. I would definitely recommend this property.

Overall, property and house was clean and updated. Scenery was nice, especially since the leaves were just starting to turn. Easy access in and out of the street. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows, blankets. And towels. Beautiful tub in upstairs bathroom. Only about 15 min drive to town Only concerns were the minor details of upkeep. A few light bulbs were out in dining, kitchen, and deck. Sliding door to upstairs bedroom is not level, so the door slides if not fully pushed to edge. Batteries in a few remotes were missing or dead. Fortunately, we found the stash of batteries. Then to 1st world problems.... Only tv that has access to Peacock was the terrace level tv. Overall though, very relaxing stay for the weekend

Great place , quiet, beautiful , clean everything you can wish for. Not a single complain about the cabin, exactly as pictured. The only complain I would have is the road to get to the cabin, not the cabin's owner fault, but if you're planning to go with sport/lowered cars it could be a little hard to get to the cabin. Besides that everything was perfect! Would stay again.

Everything about this cabin and location was perfect!! Beautiful clean cabin with any supplies that you could need. Perfect decks, especially the screened in deck, for evenings by the fire and beautiful views of the mountains!! We would definitely rent this cabin again!

Lovely property, really nice view...occasional low hum from the highway and airplanes but otherwise natural sounds to relax and unwind. Deer in the yard in the mornings and lightning bugs at night were delightful. It's removed enough from city lights for great stargazing. The beds were very comfortable and we really enjoyed the kitchen and porch spaces. The driveway is unpaved and all wheel drive is helpful. There is a picture of a desk on the upper landing in the profile, but there was no desk when we arrived. We made the end of the dining table work as one of our group had to work on Friday. I suppose it was a low-battery issue, but our only grievance is the house alarm started talking and went off at 4AM on our last night. We were all deep asleep and had all doors and windows locked and couldn't figure out how to turn it off. A bit unnerving and I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone to help us and left a message. We were trying to figure it out and I missed the return call, so thank you for calling back. Instructions for how to turn that off on the alarm housing would be ideal, as we never armed it or touched it. There are pretty clear instructions and tips in the coffee table notebook for the rest of the house functions. We really enjoyed our stay otherwise. Thank you!

This home is absolutely amazing with its location and layout, the porch deck views are stunning! Even loved the furnishings and decor, very creative, uncluttered and pretty clean. Thank you to the owners for sharing this beauty. Only reason for four instead of five stars — we are extremely picky when it comes to cleanliness, the picture windows need to be cleaned, and there was some dust and sawdust on interior window sills. Several of the recessed lights in the LR did not work. One deck light was also out. Minor easy fixes, and this home deserves the utmost maintenance, it is truly a gem!!
