Great stay especially for anniversary

This vacation home was one of the best ones we have ever stayed at. We especially loved the outdoor screened in area and spent the majority of our time there. The hot tub was wonderful and the sunsets were absolutely breathtaking! We also enjoyed bird watching on the property and saw multiple deer on our drives to and from the cabin. We will be recommending this property to everyone looking for a great mountain getaway!

Came here to celebrate our engagement and absolutely loved the place, we will definitely be back in the future.

Our 2nd stay and it was great like last time!

We had an amazing Thanksgiving stay! Blue Ridge is close - great shopping, dining and hiking! We enjoyed the cabin immensely - clean, plenty of space and loved the games!

We loved our stay!! The views are beautiful and we truly could not have asked for a better place for our anniversary trip. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and we barely had to pack any creature comforts because the cabin was full of them. A lot of care and love went into this location.

My husband and I, with our dog enjoyed a weekend getaway in this cabin. It was very accessible being one story inside--the only stairs went to the fireplace outside. It was a perfect stay with plenty of board games and beautiful views. Definitely recommend this cabin for future guests!

What a spectacular cabin to spend a relaxing vacation! Fireside Bluff may be about the most beautiful mountain getaway we have ever seen or stayed at. Perched perfectly facing the mountains of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, it has all the modern amenities you would want (internet, TV, hot tub, gas fireplace, washer/dryer) but packaged in a rustic cabin setting that makes you feel as if you stepped out of the hectic pace of everyday life and into a simpler, more meditative life. Our favorite place was the screened in back deck to read a book or have morning coffee or simply sit and talk in the quiet of the day. They provide games, a fire pit, a grill, plenty of room to spread out and all of it couched in the woods, up on a hill away from it all. This was our 30th anniversary gift to ourselves and it was completely worth it. Plus, it's within easy driving distance of some beautiful scenic views and activities and plenty of great local restaurants to choose from...unless you'd rather stay at the cabin and cook a meal in a cozy yet spacious kitchen. We were there 4 days, and it simply wasn't enough time. We hope to make it back again one day soon and stay a little longer. Important note -- use Waze to get there correctly (Apple Maps appears to be correct also). Google Maps is incorrect currently (as of this writing in Oct 2025). This is a true gem if you are looking for that mountain cabin getaway!

Very nice stay! The view alone is worth it-amazing!

To the owners, this may be the most thoughtful place we've ever stayed. I've never had a vacation kitchen so well equipped. We certainly appreciated the labeling of the kitchen drawers and cabinets also. A lot of cabins are zero effort, sparsely decorated . Not this one. Again , very thoughtful , imaginative, cozy decor everywhere you look . You can tell the owners took pride and treated as if it were their own residence . Helpful details such as motion activated lighting in key places, even binoculars for a different perspective of a breathtaking view from a 100% bug-proof upper deck completely wrapped in screen to include the floor joist beneath (we spent the majority of our time on this deck). The furnishings were first rate and comfy. The grill was in good working order. The hot tub was well maintained, chemicals seemed balanced and not harsh. There were a few things that needed attention. The screen door to the hot tub drags. The guest bedroom door does not fully close nor does the closet. The guest bath door is a challenge to close. The guest bedroom is small and hard to navigate with luggage and minimal surface area to store things, but it isn't big enough for a dresser. These issues are not a deal breaker. We had a wonderful time with family and are excited to return . The cabin is also close to downtown Blueridge which we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved it so much, while telling one of our best friends about it, they are going to try to book it this coming weekend :)

We have stayed at this specific cabin multiple times and it is our favorite. It's been recently upgraded by new owners and is now even better. Especially lovely is the remodeling of the 2nd bathroom. And screening in the large and comfortable porch. It's perfect for relaxing in a quiet atmosphere to read, talk, or nap. We already have reservations to come back in the fall!

The property was everything it it promised! Definitely will be visiting again!

My family and I really enjoyed this cabin. Everything was clean and functional per the description. Amazing views to wake up to and the hot tub was a relaxing treat after a day of exploring. We'll definitely return if available for future visits.

The cabin was great. The views were awesome from the screen in porch. We were lucky with the weather being the end of August. The only issue we had was finding the place with Google maps. It took us in on strawberry lane and that road was rough. We finally found the cabin and an alternate route to the main road. We made it fine with our Nissan Armada with AWD, but if you have a car that is low to the ground be careful. We would definitely rent this place again in the future.

The driveway up was a bit bumpy and fortunately, we were in our truck, but the site of that beautiful rhododendron in bloom in front of the cabin was a great welcome. The cabin itself was so well decorated and had those large windows that allow one to see views out all around. The kitchen had pretty much everything you needed to prepare meals there, but we opted to try several of the local restaurants and were pleased with our choices…Toccoa Riverside Restaurant, Cucinella’s Pizzeria, Southern Charm and Cantaberry in Elijah. The house had two great decks for viewing the surrounding mountains and we even saw a deer one evening. If you are in search of a quiet, well maintained cabin to relax in, with the option of some nice small towns near by, this is your place.
