Great cozy cabin for a weekend away!

Thomas responded right away when I messaged with a question. The cabin was clean but cozy. It had all the pots and pans I needed to make Thanksgiving dinner!! We would definitely stay here again!!

My husband and I spent our anniversary at this beautiful mountain cabin in Ellijay, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we walked in, we felt surrounded by peace, privacy, and stunning mountain charm.The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The warm wood interior and fireplace made it feel so inviting, and the views from the deck were breathtaking a true mountain escape. We especially loved waking up to the quiet beauty of the surrounding forest and ending our evenings relaxing together in total tranquility.It was the ideal setting to slow down, reconnect, and celebrate our special day. The location gave us the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience — tucked away in the mountains, yet close enough to explore downtown Ellijay, local shops, and wineries. Thomas was a great host, and we will be booking with him again in the near future

my wife and I had a great trip and enjoyed the cabin very much, the amenities were very nice and it was very peaceful there, the location as well as the privacy and comfort the cabin had provided the perfect little get away for our honeymoon.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and the Cabin was absolutely beautiful ! Hot tub was the perfect touch and everything inside was as pictured! Thomas was great at responding and extremely helpful will definitely book again!

We loved our time at "Deer Crossing." It rained quite a bit, but the cabin was cozy with the screened porch and the swing. Great place to read with a cup of coffee. We even had the fireplace on for some cool mornings. The hot tub was wonderful, too, and the blue and white towels were perfect. It was so quiet and peaceful-we didn't hear any sirens for a week! Thomas and the management company (Jerren and Denise) were very pleasant and helpful, and we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-supplied. It was a lovely stay, and we can't wait to go back. Thanks again, Thomas!

Thomas has been the most responsive, friendly, and down to earth guy. He made our trip extremely easy and stress free, and for the rate you absolutely cannot beat the pricing in the area, and believe me, there are tons of other cabins on the same road we were staying! Thomas is an outstanding host through and through, and I cannot wait to bring the Mrs up there again!

Deer Crossing Cabin was just what we needed, Cozy & Quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with cook & glassware. The screened porch was nice with a hot cup of coffee on a cold evening. Hot tub was relaxing.

Highly recommend!! What a lovely cabin and great experience. It felt very private and cozy with plenty of space for the 2 of us. Thomas was very responsive and helpful when I had questions before booking, and continued to provide all necessary information in a timely manner throughout the stay.

I love the cabin. I stayed most of the time by myself and felt very safe. My dog loved the porch and watching the deer in the backyard. I hope to come back next year.Paula

We stayed for our anniversary weekend we wanted a nice place to get away from everything and just relax and this was perfect. It was also reasonably close to town and all the things to do in town. I would 100 percent recommend and would stay again

The cabin was just what we needed for a getaway with friends.Thomas was awesome. A storm came through during our stay.Thomas checked on us and sent a link to keep up with the power outage updates.

If you're looking for a great place to simply get out of Atlanta and relax for a weekend or a week this is the place. Close to Ellijay and Blueridge if you want to look around or need anything. Cabin was well furnished and very comfortable. Road is gravel, a bit narrow, curvy and steep. We have a Sonata and had no problems getting up or down the mountain. It was just my wife and I so plenty of room. I think it might be a bit crowded with more than 2 adults and maybe 1 or 2 young kids.

My boyfriend & I + our 3 fur children booked this cabin for our 3 year anniversary, and overall we had a wonderful stay! The cabin was beautiful, surroundings were peaceful, and the hot tub was exactly what we needed to unwind for the weekend! Definitely a pet friendly cabin- there were some pet hairs still lingering when we got there, which did not bother us, but could potentially bother someone who doesn’t have pets & is sensitive to that.. Only complaint would be the keypad code we were told to check in was not working, but luckily Thomas was very responsive and got us in quickly! Overall, we are very happy with our stay and would book again!

We had a great stay here! We came up for a weekend for our spring break and loved it. I used to have a cabin on the same road and am so happy I was able to go back to that area. Thomas is a great host- very friendly and communicates clearly and efficiently! The cabin was beautiful and very clean. We loved hanging out on the porch all night playing games! I would definitely stay here again!

A beautiful and serene home away from home. The gas fireplace was lovely and did a wonderful job of heating up the place, even on a night that it was 23°F! The hot tub was perfect and easy to use. The roads seemed a bit daunting after it rained all night so we just stayed cozy in the cabin for one of the days. I do suggest arriving during daylight as it's a pretty narrow road at spots with a decent drop. Deer were everywhere!!! We even got to see some from the porch. Our little dog was right at home and loved the sounds and smells. We used the cabin as our home base to get to Old Car City a couple of days in a row. It was a lovely drive in both days and Carter Lake down the road was beautiful. Thanks for hosting us!

We enjoyed our stay! A super cute and cozy cabin with an awesome gated porch for our pups, hot tub and screen room with rocking chairs. A unique touch included charcuterie boards that we used several times. This was a great central location between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. We stayed during Thanksgiving week and Thomas offered us a flexible check out and the option to stay later if needed. We would love to stay here again.

First off, the communications from Thomas were great. Also the name, Deer Crossing was perfect as we saw plenty of deer.Photos matched the description of the very clean 2 BD, 1 Bath cabin. We thought bathroom was larger than some cabins we have rented in the past.Screened in big front porch! Hot tub was great and even that area was secure for our Pug to walk around, while we were in the hot tub. Hot tub was good size and very clean.Also, was nice to have filters, coffee and powdered creamer available as we forgot to bring. Wife is already discussing wanting to rent again this same cabin next year. Thanks Thomas!

The cabin was everything we expected from the pictures & description. The cabin was cute & decorated nicely. It was really nice but at the same time, it was comfortable. The porch was great. The porch had rocking chairs & a swing - which all got used. We enjoyed the hot tub. It was in good working order -as was the gas grill. The drive from the main road was narrow and winding, but we have definitely experienced worse. Parking was fine. We truly enjoyed our relaxing weekend, thank you.

Thomas is an outstanding host! When the winter storm came through the last day, he offered us an extra night free if we did not feel comfortable driving back. This shows his family is caring and understanding. The cabin was clean, cozy and quiet! The hot tub was much needed after a day of hiking. Our two girls loved exploring below the cabin. Additionally, we appreciated our goodie basket on arrival.

Wonderful Cabin! - We had a great time at this cabin. The cabin was very clean and had all the supplies that you need.We enjoyed the rocking chairs and swing on the screened in back porch. Our dog came along and he really enjoyed the trip. We liked that there was a gate on the deck to close to keep a dog contained when needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and looking at the stars at night. The cabin is properly named (Deer Crossing) because it is actually at a deer crossing. A few deer would cross the gravel road each evening and walk down below the cabin. One would just stop and stare at us. It takes a few minutes to get up the mountain on the gravel road. The road is well maintained and it was fun to see the scenery on the way up. Since it is almost Christmas there is a little covered bridge on the way up the mountain that was decorated with Christmas lights. That was a nice touch also. Down town Ellijay is just down the road about 10 miles or so. We enjoyed going to the little shops and we ate at a restaurant called The Roof that is on top of a building and you can see views of the town and mountains in the distance. I would recommend this cabin and Thomas is a great host.

Stayed here for a week and had an amazing stay. Every day we saw multiple deer on or near the property and it was lovely to see. Very peaceful and quiet. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Our dogs enjoyed walking through the area and felt right at home. Thomas communicated with us quickly and effectively if we had any questions. Great location in Elijay, about 15 minute drive to Blue Ridge. Towards the end of our 8 hour drive home, my husband realized he left his wedding ring behind. Thomas mailed it to us and we could not be more grateful. Would 100% stay here again!

Thomas the host was great. He allowed me to check in early as I was in the area already. The Cabin looked very rustic and had that Cabin feel, and it had everything you would need. The Hot Tub was great!!!!! Enjoyed the Cabin very much. Highly recommend

My wife and I booked Deer Crossing for a long weekend and loved it! The night sky view from the hot tub is great and the huge screened in porch was a great place to sip coffee and relax. Great place!

We absolutely loved our stay in Thomas’s cabin. We were so centrally located to everything we got to really explore Ellijay and Blue Ridge areas. It’s so nice to have shopping so close by as well as several restaurants. The hot tub was an added perk after a long day of horseback riding. We were lucky enough to see a huge number of deer on our last morning there. The water pressure in the shower was great and almost instant hot water and they had great wooden boards for our charcuterie platters. The front porch that is screened in was an added bonus. If you like firmer mattresses like us, choose the bedroom on the left facing the porch. The bedroom on the right had a softer spring bed if that’s your preference. Comfy couch too!

Beautiful cabin nestled in the woods. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was conveniently located to local attractions, yet enough out of the way to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The cabin was perfect for our quick getaway. Sitting on the porch was so peaceful and the hot tub was very relaxing. We had some trouble locking ourselves out of the cabin but Thomas was quick to help! We will be back!

Great weekend stay at this property. Excellent location, has everything you'd need to cook or barbecue, thoughtful touches throughout, and excellent communication with the host. The inside of the house was super clean and we appreciated the central A/C on a warmer than average time in northern Georgia. The screened in porch area could have benefited from a sweep/wipe down prior to our arrival, but I'd imagine that it's very hard to keep up with this due to the dust from the road and pollen. We made good use of the hot tub, which was outside and uncovered but since there's not a lot of foot traffic on the street we felt that it was private enough. The location was excellent to both Ellijay and Blue Ridge, just be sure to factor in the ~10 minute drive from the main road up to the cabin. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you Thomas for sharing your beautiful Deer Crossing cabin-we had a lovely stay and would recommend others. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for cleanliness is because the front porch floor was dirty with footprints I assume from prior guests. Overall a 5 star experience on all other categories. We had a really nice time in this very quiet location in the mountains.

This was our second weekend getaway at Deer Crossing! From the indoor gas fireplace to the hot tub after a chilly hike, it truly is an escape that we didn't know we needed. It was super easy to check in and check out, thank you Thomas for a great experience yet again!

We had a wonderful weekend at this cabin. Unfortunately, storms and freezing weather moved in and we had to leave early. Thomas contacted me and didn’t charge for the evening we didn’t spend in his cottage. That’s terrific customer service. I will be looking forwards to staying here another time!

Had an absolutely amazing time celebrating Christmas in a cabin with our 2 kids and puppy. The quaint cabin was fully stocked and had great amenities. We loved hiking the waterfalls nearby and soaking in the hot tub afterwards! We cannot wait to return! Hope to make it a holiday tradition!

Highly recommend Deer Crossing Cabin. It’s a perfect cabin in a great location for a getaway. My husband and I really enjoyed celebrating our wedding anniversary in Ellijay, GA with our 2 dogs. We would love to return sometime soon.

First time traveling to Georgia and we could not be happier with this airbnb. The cabin is in a great location looking over acres of trees. During the days we were able to see deer and throughout our stay we had peace and quiet (no neighbors close by at all) . Overall would highly recommend Thomas's cabin if you need a great vacation to go hiking near by and come back home to relax :)

This was such a cute getaway! Loved the place and enjoyed the area. the cabin itself was so cute and decorated beautifully! It was very clean and they even left a little goody basket, it was such a great way to greet the guests! The hot tub was so fun the experience overall was amazing definitely will be back in the future. :)

great location. an SUV is recommended, it’s quite a drive up the mountain but it’s so much fun! the hot tub is great, the kitchen is fantastic, and the beds are nice and comfy. the cabin is about 20-30 minutes from restaurants and hiking trails, so it’s a nice scenic drive to anywhere you want to go. we definitely look forward to coming back soon!

Great location, right between downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The drive up the mountain is about 1.5 miles off the main road, but a getaway is what we were after. Lots of wildlife to see with modern conveniences of WiFi and newer appliances. The best of both worlds!

I greatly enjoyed the stay, the cabin was very clean and put together nicely!! The hot tub was already heated when we arrived and the view was gorgeous!! We also enjoyed a little snack basket arranged on the table!

Such an amazing weekend at Deer Crossing! The hot tub was hot when we arrived, and it was a bit chilly out, so it was such a nice way to relax after the drive. The bed was comfortable, clean, and the welcome basket filled with goodies was such a nice touch. Thomas was amazing with communication, and check-in/check out was a breeze. We also saw the same family of four deer each night, the cabin definitely lives up to its name! We will 100% be back. Thanks again!
