Great spot for a weekend getaway

we had an unforgettable experience , the cabin was beautiful , everything you need for vacation

The cabin is beautiful; the furniture is gorgeous and the views are lovely. DON’T TRY TO FIND THIS PLACE IN THE DARK! We got lost (even with the typed directions; never found the fork in the road)… and after 1.5 hrs of driving around in total darkness using a strong flashlight to see where the roads ended, my girlfriends wanted to go to find a hotel for the night. I wasn’t about to mention the movie “Wrong Turn,” but I was determined to find the cabin, so I called the after hours emergence # & Kailey (I think ?) stayed on the line with us until we found the cabin. The drive way is paved but it rained one night, so when we returned from hanging out in Blue Ridge, the leaves made the drive way so slick we could not get up the drive way. (It was early Nov.) We did not have 4-wheel drive so we had to kick the wet leaves in order to clear a path for the tires. A guy in the next cabin must have felt sorry for us because he came & helped us get my SUV up the driveway. It made for a good laugh later but we decided that was enough adventure for one trip!

We had the most perfect post-Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay with our dogs. We love to travel but getting to bring our doodles was such a treat. The cabin was well appointed, so clean it felt new, and had absolutely everything we needed. The hiking nearby was refreshing and wonderful. I am forever grateful and hope we can return soon! We want to make this getaway a tradition.

Upon arriving at Cardinal’s Crossing we were very happy with the surrounding area and views. The cabin was beautifully decorated and very clean. The cabin was very comfortable and everything you could possibly need was there. We loved our stay and will definitely come back.

Beautiful cabin

Nice location with beautiful surroundings. They have paved the driveway so is easy to ascend with vehicle so do not need all wheel drive. Cabin was clean , and kitchen had all needed amenities.

It was peaceful & quiet. Great view from the second floor. Loved walking the road during the day with my dog.

Cabins For You is always the way to go the customer service is the best. Each time I book with them it a very easy process.I feel right at home and the cabin was Amazing for my family of 3(fur baby).If you thinking or looking at this cabin trust me you will not be disappointed..

Beautiful mountain house, the views of the sunset over the mountains were incredible. The fireplace made the home so cozy and the hot tub felt extra awesome in the mornings and evenings. The driveway was steep and made of gravel rocks, so just drive a car capable of handling that!

Cabin was absolutely beautiful! View was outstanding (even so that we just lost track of time on the porch multiple times.) Both pups and dog parents LOVED the genus porch gate idea! 😊The cabin lacked nothing! Just bring your own firewood. Our Subaru Outback made it up and down the driveway without any problem whatsoever. I would definitely recommend AWD to get up there! Our days started with homemade breakfast and soaking up the serene views. We then ventured out in the afternoon. Visited Vogel State park, Long Creek Falls (be prepared for the bumpy drive up) and both were beautiful. Had Bbq at Jim’s Smokin Que (do yourself a favor and get the sweet potato fries!) In the evenings, we made dinner and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit… we even met the neighborhood mountain kitty 🐱 on our last night. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back. If you want peace and quiet, book now!

Beautiful location and very clean

The driveway could be a little challenging without the right vehicle.

Had an issue from the moment we arrived. The hot tub had NOT been drained or cleaned. There was slime on the wall and the water smelt like pond water. HOWEVER, I made one text to the contact given for emergencies and they had the issue resolved the same day. No fault of the property owner, it was the cleaning crew. Great expedited service by management in getting us hot tube ready!! The rest of the cabin was great. Great weekend! Well-supplied cabin! 5 Star!

The property was clean had all immedities listed and they were all in working order. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Had a great relaxing weekend

Really loved our stay at Cardinal’s Crossing. Great location and amenities. Loved the high ceilings and view from the picture window on the second floor! The hot tub and wraparound porch with gates for pets sealed the deal. A bit close to some other cabins but still felt nice and reasonably private.

Perfect get away!

Absolutely perfect! Clean well taken care of home. We wanted for nothing . We will definitely be back!

Great area, amazing views. We were able to see deer and turkeys in the neighborhood. Clean home. Perfect size for 3 adults and 1 toddler (we brought our own pack and play which fit in the upstairs bedroom). We also had our 2 dachshunds who had plenty of room downstairs. Parking area is spacious. Appreciated the board games and binder with all the local recommendations . There was some confusion regarding how to lock the door , seems there was a different mechanism to lock the door than specified in the instructions , but we figured it out through trial and error. Also water pressure is a bit light but not a big deal.

Enjoyed our trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains.. It was very inconvenient to drive 10 miles out of the way to get Cabin’s address and code to the door lock.

Jessica and Jason responded promptly to chainsaw the tree off the truck and didn't stop there. They were so professional yet personable, helping us arrange a rental car, getting our motorcycle trailer towed to a safe spot, taking pictures to submit to our insurance company, offering to let us stay as long as needed to make our arrangements. They were another pair of guardian angels that we have encountered so many times in our 20 years of home owning and vacationing there. Jessica had 6 cabins with trees on the roof that morning but gave us all the attention and support we needed, as if she had nothing else to do. We are so very thankful for her and hubbie Jason!!!

The cabin was exceptionally clean! We’ve come to expect a less-than-stellar experience with cleanliness when pets are allowed, but this cabin was incredible clean. Well stocked kitchen, easy checkout process. The location was beautiful and private. Morganton is close enough to visit the towns of Blue Ridge and Ellijay easily, and we enjoyed the beautiful mountain roads. Thanks for a great stay for us and our pups!

Our family loved this cabin. Plenty of room yet cozy. Everything we needed was there. Great experience. Only complaint, the outside garbage bin so full when we arrived that there was very little room for our garbage. Will definitely stay again.

Our THIRD time staying at Cardinals Crossing! It is a cozy little cabin with a wonderful porch on three sides. This is where we spent much of our time. In summer, you are surrounded by lush green trees. Deer come to pass through both early morning and evening. Lots of birds chirping away. The driveway is an easy drive up with the nice granite rocks. The cabin is beautifully decorated in black bear decor and all cabin wood. The AC works well and cools down quickly. The fireplace is a quick turn of the switch. It is close to local stores and attractions. We will return.

This cabin is beautiful. It sits on top of a hill and is surrounded by beautiful, long trees. We woke up in the morning by the chirping of the birds and it felt so peaceful. The cabin is fully furnished, clean, cozy, just perfect. All you need to buy is food (already equipped with most seasonings) and clothes detergent. It is minutes away from all the stores and restaurants.

My wife and I escaped to cardinals crossing for Valentine’s Day weekend. We arrived Friday afternoon and checked out Monday. The cabin was amazingly clean and appointed. The hot tub was incredible and the fire pit was a blast as well. We enjoyed it so much we didn’t want to leave. Looking forward to another visit to our cabin in the woods. :)

My girlfriend and I were extremely pleased with the condition of the cabin and the overall cleanliness of it; the pictures honestly do not do it justice! The cabin is very spacious, the wood carved furniture and rustic decor inside make a very cozy atmosphere, especially with the gas fireplace burning on a cold mountain morning; the rooms and bathrooms were very well kept up, and the hot tub not only worked perfectly but was already prepped and running for us at a temp of 100 degrees when we arrived :) From the loft in the second story of the cabin there is picture window that overlooks the Blue Ridge mountains.....we went in early November and you could see plenty of the vibrant colors of the leaves changing for the fall. The view during sunset or sunrise was absolutely breathtaking and magnificent. It was very easy to locate the cabin-my girlfriend and I both have iPhones and our GPS' both successfully navigated us to the cabin! Once there, the WiFi worked excellent, and we were able to make calls out to friends and family without any issues. I would recommend this cabin to anybody and most likely we will be trying to rent this cabin again sometime in the future! Our stay at Cardinals Crossing gave us memories that will last a lifetime, truly an awesome cabin to make your Blue Ridge vacation a pleasant one!

Reviewer Comments: My girlfriend and I rented this cabin only for a weekend while we came up from Florida to visit Blue Ridge GA for the first time; we were extremely satisfied with the overall condition and cleanliness of the cabin. The beautifully carved elegant furniture made out of timber combined with the rustic decor in the cabin's interior made it a perfect setting for a romantic getaway to the mountains. From the upstairs loft we had a breathtaking view of the Blue Ridge Mountain line, along with the fall foliage colors which were both vibrant and abundant. Everything worked great, appliances and gas log fireplace turned on and off without any difficulty - even the hot tub was prepped and ready for us when we first got there...set at a perfect soaking temp of 100 degrees :) The only part of this stay that was disappointing was the fact that we had some noisy neighbors on our last night, the house directly behind our cabin up on the hill; starting in the afternoon they started shooting off rifles (not sure if they were trying to shoot at bear or deer out in the woods) and later on in the late hours of the night they started revving the motor of a dirt bike or ATV that it sounded like they might had been working on.... Not sure if there is a noise ordinance in effect for this area or if because they were a private residence if there is even anything to be done about that. Definitely something that I think the Blue Ridge rental company should look into for the quality of stay for any guest who books Cardinals Crossing. Other than girlfriend and I can't complain at all, we wouldn't change any other aspect of our stay at this cabin. The views of the trees, mountains, and landscape were spectacular, and the cabin itself was lovely and elegant inside. Most definitely would recommend Cardinals Crossing as an awesome vacation rental experience!

My husband and I give this cabin a 10 out of 10! We get a cabin every year for our anniversary and this was perfect. We love visiting blue ridge and blairsville, so we wanted something in between both cities. Location was perfect!

The property did not match the description on paper. It needs to be breathless view, Elegant, and relaxing. Must see in person... Pictures your viewing online are real pictures of the cabin. BEAUTIFUL. The cabin is fully furnished the only thing you need to bring are clothes, personal hygiene and stop off at the local Ingles to purchase food, treats, and of course SMORES because you have a huge fire pit with a VIEW. I recommend stopping at Mercier Orchards on a day you want to just relax. Bring your $$ because they have it all. The Wine Slushies are delicious, and do the wine tasting only $6 for 4 picks. I purchased the Peach Wine ohhh boy... For a all day road trip you MUST go to the Helton Creek Falls,so worth the small hike to the bottom. It is breathless, wear tennis shoes, or water shoes, towel, and clothes to get wet in. make sure the camera is fully charged. No phone service, but your crazy if you need to be on your phone. On your way back to the cabin stop by Sleepy Hollow Mon-Sat 9:00-4:30 must do. Few things to note: You will have to drive for a bit to get to sites, however its a beautiful view. GPS will NOT get you to the cabin, they do provide well written instructions so you will find it if you follow them. There are bears and wildlife so watch your children do not let them walk at night or if you brought pets you DONT let them off the leash. If your looking for a get away because you need some you time this is the cabin, or if your bringing your kid's, and family this is the cabin. The rental agency are as friendly as they sound over the phone, Holly I believe she is the property owner she is amazing sweet person.

The property management team was great. Provided all the services needed. Layout of cabin was great for two of us. Four people could stay comfortably there. Bedrooms were small making it hard to get around the queen size beds. Especially if you wake up at night to go to the bathroom. Craftsmanship of the cabinet n was exactly what you would expect. Made that cabin in the woods feel so calming. The porch was the place to be as the sun was coming up in the morning and going down in the evening. Saw many deer passing by making a true woodsy experience. A few disappoints did occur. The bed mattress upstairs was hard and uncomfortable for us. The downstairs bed was more comfortable being a softer mattress. The dishwasher did not appear to be working. It made have been us but we could never get it to come on. So we just hand washed the kitchen items we used. The hot tub seemed to be on a timer for the jets to work. Maybe a minute then at least 10 minutes before coming on again. I would have like it to have jet settings that you could set for maybe a 20 minutes at a time then getting into the spa tub would have been relaxing. Only used once not worth getting into. I understand the shutoff feature to keep guests from running jets all the time but have some improvements here would have been nice. Other than the above noted issues we loved the location and will consider this cabin in our future north Georgia stays.

Beautiful relaxing home ! Enjoyed our time at the house. So many little touches made it feel like home ! The only thing I would change is I wish it was a little more private. Very loud neighbors in the next house. My fur baby Luca also loved his time in the cabin relaxing on the porch. Loved the enclosure on each end

Cabin was very lovely. Beautiful scenery. Clean. Peaceful. Unfortunately the downstairs bathroom toilet water didn't work. I called and reported this especially since I just had shoulder replacement surgery. I tried to turn the water on and off but that did t help. The lady was very helpful and put on top of the repair list. However no one ever contacted me till late the next day. And somehow the water started working in the toilet late that night. So didn't need any help but very disappointed that it didnt work and waited that long with what we paid. Also tried to use the hot tub and it was making a terrible noise like something was wrong with the motor so turned it off at the inside breaker. So what I paid for the cabin I don't think I got my monies worth. Sadly.
