Perfect Fall Getaway

Loved our stay at Bucks Bear Lodge! Beautiful and spacious with everything you could want. Comfy beds and plush towels. Gas fireplaces, but bring wood for the fire pit. The road through the resort is narrow and winding, so just be aware. There are also many deer roaming around.

Well-stocked property

Nice amenities in house, well-stocked. Hot tub would be an improvement. Not a great location, not private, surrounded by houses.

Beautiful cabin set in the north Georgia mountains. The cabin had everything we needed and was beautiful besides. The 2 fireplaces and fire pit were a hit. We loved that all we had to do was click a button and the fireplace was on. Plenty of space for us all to spend an amazing week.

Fun with Friends

The hurricane washed out our house near Ashville so we made a plan B and it was a great choice. The owners have done a great job with their house. It is warm and inviting. We will be back!

Before our arrival the first cabin we booked was shut down due to needing some minor repairs, the staff was so nice and helpful with our replacement process. We absolutely loved our stay at Bucks Bear Lodge. It is a beautiful cabin with lots of room. The linens were well stocked and the kitchen had all the necessities. Bucks Bear was very clean upon our arrival, we will most definitely stay again!!

Pretty, clean, kitchen had everything except a tea picture. Beds slept great. Very pleased!

Our stay at Buck's Bear Lodge

The house is beautiful as is the gated community. Everything went really well - great communication throughout. The only issue we had at all was the price of the amenities card. The listing said it would be $10 for a day pass, so we waited until midway through our stay for a day when we would be able to make good use of the pass. Turns out there aren't day passes any more - it is a 1 time fee of $59 that covers your entire stay (for up to 4 people). Had we known that, we would have bought the pass on the first day and then used the pools/rec center for a short time each day. This was truly a minor inconvenience, but it could be a bigger issue for some. We certainly won't hesitate to come back - this was one of our best vacations ever. We are very pleased.

Peaceful getaway!

Loved this cabin. Everything was awesome from check in to check out. The cabin was very clean and modern. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. Loved sitting out on the back with the fireplace and the front porch with the swing. The cabin had several options for outdoor seating which we loved. The fire pit was a nice touch, we made S’mores one night. The highlight of the trip was getting to see the deer everyday! I was sad when it was time to leave. This was the best trip, very peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely be coming back!!

Guy's Summer Vacation

The property was clean, new and very nice. Plenty of room for a group of 5. The deck was very nice to hang out in the morning and evenings. We used the grill every night and there was plenty of space in the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was convenient for Ellijay, Blue Ridge, hiking in GA and whitewater rafting in TN.

Wonderful Cabin

We had a fabulous stay! The cabin was exactly as it was advertised online. There was a nice welcome basket with snacks that were perfect for the children. We enjoyed siting on the porch and watching the deer. Our GPS took us directly to the cabin and aided us as we found our way around the resort. The kids loved access to the pools and pickled all courts. We would love to visit again! Thanks for a great stay!

Took two days to get a confirmation number to get in the gate. Trash bins were full and had to leave trash in the kitchen when checking out. Beautiful cabin and great experience overall.

It would have been good to know the resort amenities were available for an added fee and that cash or check was the preferred method of payment for this as I don’t readily carry these on hand. Also, we only used the grill once as the rack was so rusted that we could not use it again.
