Aska River House

This was a great place to go and relax. The private access to the stream was amazing! It's a great place to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet of the rushing river. I definitely want to go back again!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin on the Toccoa River! The riverfront location and enclosed patio were by far our favorite features—we spent so much time relaxing & playing there. The layout was perfect for our family, with two beds on each floor, and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. We also appreciated the ceiling fans in every bedroom, extra fans, blankets, chairs, games, puzzles, reliable WiFi, easy TV streaming, thoughtful wall hooks throughout, and the added security of the sliding door lock bars.A few small improvements could make this place even better: provide extra paper products and coffee for longer stays, add reusable plastic dishes, brighter patio lighting and fans, blinds on all windows, and a small AC unit upstairs. We also noticed the bath towels and sofa could use a deep cleaning. Overall, this is a beautiful, comfortable cabin that we’d gladly recommend and would happily stay in again!

This spot was absolutely beautiful. Pulling up hearing the river in the back was so awesome. Floating during the day, watching horror movies at night was top tier. Only recommendation would be maybe get some window coverings, blinds or curtains, just to keep the sun out during the day, and to be able to close at night, for privacy.Other than that I hope to rent this place again next summer’s family vacation! I fell in love with the area, and can’t wait to come back.

The house and the location were incredible! At arrival the house inside was clean and the setup was perfect. The view of the river was beyond words. The only negative response would be that the cleaning team did not clean the outside porch and decks at all. The mats and deck outside the back entrance were trashed. The front porch we had to clean all of the tables and chairs and sweep the entire porch. Overall we were well satisfied!

Great place! Plenty of space and amazing atmosphere!

We got a call just before 4 which was check-in telling us we couldn’t arrive until 6. It was a little inconvenient but we found something to do. I called around 5 and was told we could go ahead so we did when we arrived the drive way was a little steep and narrow but we were able to pull in and out fine. The cleaners were still there but we only waited about 15 minutes while they finished up. The cabin was clean and beautiful. Just like the pictures. They had a quest book you can sign and talk about your adventure and read other peoples stories as well which was neat. We did have pretty much all we needed to cook but lacked bags for kitchen and bathrooms. Thankfully we had went out for groceries and has those bags to use. We enjoyed listening to the river and the hot tub got really warm. Very Nice Deck area. We would definitely stay again and recommend.

Perfectly located for anything you want to do in Blue Ridge or the surrounding areas. My family of 6 fit perfectly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 2 nights and it was outstanding. River is just steps away and so relaxing. Very peaceful. Plenty of room inside. Very clean.Thanks for a great weekend.

The proximity to the river was amazing! The water access was kid friendly. The four beds were comfortable. The hot tub was clean with a nice view of the river. Property was clean and well kept. The upstairs was a little warm in the late July heat. The downstairs area was nice and cool.

The Aska River house exceeded our expectations. Two living areas allowed our two families easy access to quiet time without feeling like we were on top of each other. All the items needed were present and available, from grilling tools to marshmallow sticks. Spacious bathrooms so multiple folks can get ready at the same time. Most importantly the quiet, serene landscape is EXACTLY what we were looking for. The kids playing soccer in the yard, while mom reads her book by the river, the aska river house is a dream for anyone trying to step into nature outside of their doorstep.

This cabin has just been renovated. It has 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has the most beautiful views…right on the river. I will definitely be booking again!

This cabin is perfectly positioned for enjoying a mountain stream, a local general store and a beautiful drive into Blueridge. You will love staying here and long to come back.

Ok, so let’s be honest….The cabin looks just like the pictures, which was a huge relief. I came here to get some peace and quiet in a private space where I could just take a break. This cabin gave me just that. This is a place to come and get refreshed. You are right on the water, opening the bedroom window, I could hear the river right outside. The fireplace added a bit of coziness. The place was clean, it was quiet and it was safe. I sat in the enclosed hot tub and just watched the river flow by. If being near water but away from the noise and traffic is your thing, this place is for. You literally cannot ask for a more peaceful place. Communication was easy and quick response. Highly recommend

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at this house! Perfect for relaxing and fishing. It also was a great central location to all the places we visited.

Perfect weekend getaway! The river view is amazing!

The major negative was that the hot tub was not serviced and had a horrible odor. We called the host about it but wasn’t fixed before we left.

The cabin smelled musty and is in need of a good cleaning. The ice maker did not work and the coffee maker (single pod) did not stream like it should. The stove was greasy. The downstairs bathroom smelled like sewer. No safety bars in the tubs and rugs were not non- skid. The closet in the queen room had an upright vacuum and an umbrella for outdoor table, leaving no room to hang clothes. The sofa was very uncomfortable as well as the porch chairs. The dryer filter was full of lint. Only one kitchen towel, so I bought two for the river house. Our guest purchased three Soft soaps as the upstairs soap was watered down. I will say the fridge, tubs, sinks and sheets were clean. With a deep cleaning and yard maintenance (those stumps are a hazard) you would have a welcoming cabin.

We loved the Aska River House and plan to come back. Listening to the Toccoa River was so peaceful. As we walked down the hallway, we noticed the picture glass is very dusty. There on no lights on the back porch. Just don’t know if the bulbs need changing. Cleanliness of the cabin could have been better. Hence, the 3 ⭐️
