Appalachian Sunrise

A wonderful mountain getaway! The drive up to the cabin is definitely challenging, with mostly gravel roads, but it’s absolutely worth it once you arrive and take in the amazing view. I’d recommend making the drive while it’s still light out, especially if you’re not used to mountain roads.We loved watching the sunrises from the cabin and had an unforgettable time watching the Perseid meteor shower at night. The cabin itself was clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. The furniture is in great shape, and the beds were comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. The area is wonderfully quiet and peaceful.The location is also great for exploring, with both Blue Ridge and McCaysville nearby—two great places to visit during your stay.Our host was friendly, responsive, and provided excellent communication throughout our visit.One thing to be aware of is the wildlife. We saw bears in the area, and on our last night one apparently tried to get into the outdoor trash b

The home was absolutely beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for a smaller group just wanting to hang out. There was a lot to do within the cabin itself so you can never be bored! It was very spacious and clean! We all could move around very comfortably without feeling crowded. The view was breathtaking; especially for the sunrise!! I would recommend staying here to literally anyone!!

Great vacation home.

This location is as everything!! The drive was “fun” but fully expected being at the top of the mountain. The gps took us right to it with no issues. The cabin was very clean and had everything you could need. The views were amazing throughout the entire day! Everything was quick to get to if you needed anything. We are already looking into when we will be back!

This property was excellent for our family of four. The location is unbeatable and the listing/instructions set clear expectations that were met. Highly recommend.

We stayed at this 3 bedroom cabin for my mom's 80th birthday celebration. We had 5 adults in our party. There was plenty of space for each of us to have our own room and own bathroom. The view alone was worth the price of the rental, it was absolutely stunning. The drive up the mountain was not as bad as some other reviews stated. Yes it was a 1 lane road in spots, but we navigated it fine with no issues. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need, including a crock pot and blender. I suggest bringing some extra trash bags, paper towel and dish soap if you stay longer than 3 days. The entire cabin was very clean and organized. The bed frame in the lower level bedroom was very squeaky, so if you are a toss and turner, I suggest giving that bedroom to someone who sleeps more soundly. Other than that, we had no other issues. I would book this cabin again if we ever had the need.

I was a little nervous after reading some of the other reviews but this place was great! We had three couples with us and one of us got the top floor, one of us got the middle floor and one the basement. It was an awesome place for the six of us - we each had our own space but came together in the common areas. It had a good amount of pots and pans and things for cooking. Someone also told us it was one of the best views on the mountain. It was clean and comfortable as well. It took about 25 minutes to get to town but it was nice and quiet. We had one couple in a Corolla and they said it was a little scary in one spot on the mountain but they made it just fine! If we go back to Blue Ridge, we’ll be rebooking! 😊

When using maps only use google maps. Waze took us to the wrong place! Try to arrive when you can still see the road! Enjoy the clear star filled nights and breathtaking morning sunrises over the blue ridge mountians. The cabin was spotless and beautiful BUT the view is priceless! Beds were comfortable. The fire pit was enjoyable. The hot tub clean and easy to use. Plus towels! Added joys were ti wandering deer. God’s beauty all around.

This was a great place. Very private and the views were amazing. There was a rainbow that literally looked like you could touch it.

My husband and I spent 4 days here and we cannot wait to book again! The view is amazing! The entire house is well kept and clean. It’s definitely up in the mountain so not many people passing through so you can easily walk and hike the area. Thank you for allowing us to stay here we had a great time!

We loved the cabin! The views are amazing. We were not ready to leave! Would loved to come back again soon! The road was not as bad as some reviews stated. It is up a mountain, hence Mountain View’s. Some parts are a little steep, but my 2023 Nissan Rouge made it no problem with four adults. Definitely worth the climb. The hot tub was a bonus!

Beautiful cabin, perfect for a family vacation! The pool table and hot tub were a hit. The Dover up the mountain is rough- the road is bad, but cabin is worth the drive!

House was great. Very easy to check in. The Georgia CFY group was very easy to work with and quick to help with anything we needed. Would definitely go back again. The drive up to the house is an adventure but we loved it. Would definitely recommend a truck or higher clearance vehicle.

This is an amazing cabin with a breathtaking view. Everything was clean and in great shape. The only drawback is the yard. It's pretty steep, but what do you expect for a cabin on the top of a mountain ⛰️. All in all, a great stay!!

The cabin is amazing. Our second year staying there. The road up to the cabin was a lot more bumpy than the previous year and wasn't pleasant to go up or down. It needs to be smoothed out, so it isn't so bad going up or down.

The cabin and views were fantastic. Long gravel drive to the top but well worth it! We enjoyed the old town of Blue Ridge as well.

Absolutely beautiful cabin with a great view. Housekeeping could have been a little better. Especially on the porches but all in all it was beautiful.

The view is amazing! The space of the place was perfect! The trees blocking some of the view. I will return in October!

My husband and i went to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed every minute at this cabin. We grilled and spent alot of time in the hot tub. We had some rainy weather so the view was a little cloudy. All in all it was exactly what we needed

This cabin was everything it was advertised to be! The views are incredible, the neighborhood is peaceful, and the cabin has something for everyone. Driving directions complete with a video were provided in advance of the stay and were invaluable, as we arrived at night, but felt very comfortable navigating due to the video directions. We can’t wait to book with CFY again!!

Our family came together for a long weekend. House fit us well. Great porch and view. Well appointed house on top of mountain. Will come back

Both properties boast breathtaking views of the Blueridge Mts. Both properties were equipped to make a memorable vacation. The view from the back porch was spectacular and was like a picture that was always changing from sunrise to sunset. I've stayed in the mountains many times and have rented cabins over the past 15 years and, hands down, this is the best view we've experienced. The kitchen was a bit short on storage space and had limited cookware but we made it work. The family room and bedrooms were all spacious and comfortable. We used the hot tub every day after our hikes then played pool which was great fun! There are hikes as close as 15 minutes away and it was only 30 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge. Within an hour ride you could get to Ellijay, Amicalola Falls, Dahlonga and so much more. This is a great cabin, situated in a great location. The only thing I would have changed is how close the cabin next door was but even that was not an issue.

over all the place it self was very nice. drive up was a little tricky at first but was easy to maneuver after a while. the house itself was nice and spacious. we did have a bear get into the outside trash, and we let Jenny know. She was super quick to respond and sent someone out to help get what we couldn't. would for sure rent a place from her again.

Very cute cabin and we loved staying there. Close to town and stores. It really wasn’t that hard to get to the cabin, the Apple Maps address was only a few minutes from the actual location. Amazing view and such a relaxing weekend. The only reason I didn’t rate this 5 stars was because there were sooooo many Asian lady bugs in the cabin. They were all over our things and we ended up bringing some home with us. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!!

House was gorgeous. Scenery even more beautiful. Lots to do in the area. The drive up the mountain was a little terrifying to say the least if you’re used to flat ground like we are. Wasn’t expecting that at all but I got used to the drive by the end of our trip. House is secluded with a few neighbors that mainly keep to themselves. Everyone was very friendly and we had a wonderful week with our family.
