10/10!!!! In all ways! The property was so much more than expected! So many outdoor areas to enjoy with two fishing spots, two campfire spots, horseshoes and THREE decks, each with living/sitting areas. The kitchen was well-equipped; I had everything needed to cook full meals. The lower living area was stocked with books and games galore! It rained a good bit during our stay and we never ran out of things to do… the screened in creekside porch was wonderful! All the beds were comfortable and there was so much room we never felt cramped. Highly recommend BurraBurra for a great meal in town and The Waterfront for casual dining and entertainment. If you’re up for a good hike, go to Turtletown creek falls. Don’t stop at the first, be sure to see the star of the show, the second waterfall! We will absolutely be staying here again!

We had an amazing time! We cannot say enough about the beauty of the cabin and incredibly well stocked with every need imaginable. The entertainment out door spaces is perfectly laid out. You can bring the whole family or can be accommodating for just a small group. You have options for playing horse shoes, corn whole, fire pit or just fishing down by the creek which is very well lit at night. We will definitely be back!!

Great cabin! Needs a thicker shower mat in the Master shower--the pebble floor is beautiful but is painful to stand on! It needed to be shaved to be flat.

The Overlook is an exceptional place to stay with family or friends. There is plenty of room to sleep 9 comfortably with two sofas available, too! A crockpot might be a welcome addition to the kitchen supplies. The riverside with the firepit and the firepit up near the cabin were both perfect. The lit pathway/trail down to the riverside is perfect, too! We were only sad that we weren't able to book more nights because of our busy schedules. We are planning our next trip already!!!

This cabin was perfect for our family getaway. The fishing was great, the rooms were comfy and the whole home was inviting. The perfect retreat for a relaxing weekend away.

Cabin was wonderful and just as described. Very clean. My husband loves to fish, so it was perfect location on the creek. Hot tub was great as well. Only complaint was there is a neighbor/renter next door who had a dog that barked non-stop.

So glad for the choice we made to spend a week at this beautiful cabin. The accommodations were absolutely lovely “country comfy cozy”, clean and fresh when we walked in. It is outfitted and stocked without any wants or needs once we arrived. You may have to stop at the nearby grocery store if you didn’t preplan to bring any grocery items. I can’t think of even one negative issue. Our time spent there was honestly the best mountain vacation experience. The location was perfect, you can hear the water rushing from each cabin deck level. It is just a short drive to the local “Main Street” with restaurants & shopping. Everyone we met and spoke to were so friendly and more than happy to offer information about the area. Also, the attractions were not far from the cabin to conveniently attend (tubing, gem mining, horseback trail ride and local marketplace orchard visit). Between the cabin and local town experience we had - visiting again wouldn’t require a second thought. I would strongly recommend a stay at The Overlook on Fightingtown.

This was an easy stay from reserving the cabin to departure. The keypad entry made entry and exit simple. The cabin was perfect! Everything you need is there. The kitchen was fully equipped. A Keurig would have been nice, but a quality coffee pot was provided. We ate all our meals outside on the deck. So relaxing with the creek rushing in the background. The beds were comfortable, and it was nice having a bathroom for each bedroom. Overall, just a great place to make memories.

Great cabin for my family. Clean and spacious, with private access to the creek. My husband enjoyed fishing (though he didn’t catch anything) and my teen/tween daughters had a blast playing in the creek. The upper balcony was such a wonderful place to spend my morning sipping coffee and enjoying the view and sound of the rushing creek. I recommend bringing some tubes so you can float on the creek. *Pro Tip*- straight out from the hammock, in the middle of the creek, there is a tether attached to a rock. Use a carabiner to attach your tube and you’ve got a nice stationary spot to float in the creek. I have but one gripe. There are no blinds in the upstairs master bathroom. I would advise installing some blinds as I did see a neighbor walking down their driveway from the window.

Our family throughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving this year at this beautiful cabin in the blue ridge mountains. Thank you!

We had the best time being away with our family. Our little girls enjoyed playing outside while we enjoyed the fire. The creek was their favorite.

Cabin was top notch with high end finishes on the inside and out, the creek area was also a great area to spend the day with the kids. we tried our hand at some trout fishing but seem to be none in the area at that time. overall would highly recommend this cabin for anyone wanting to relax in nature and enjoy the surroundings.

What a wonderful place to unwind. Lots to do and see or just sit on the porch and listen to the creek. Played games every night and lots of close places to hike and fish!

Perfect for a peaceful trip! Only a two hours from Maggie valley, 10 mins from blue ridge. It was the perfect location. Quiet and not too touristy. The creek behind the house was amazing.

The cabin was in excellent condition and located in a great area near the towns of McCaysville and Copper Hill. We loved the creek behind the house and listening to the running water while hanging out on the back porch. Easy drive to activities like hiking and apple picking at Mercier Orchards. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a long hike (although not all of the jets were working). We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a getaway up to the north Georgia mountains.

A beautiful cabin in a beautiful spot. So realxing and located perfectly with adventure in every direction. The only bad thing about the whole trip was leaving .

We had a great stay at your cabin. The view of the creek is beautiful. You feel very secluded, but are close to town. The road to the cabin is well maintained. The cabin had everything we needed. We would definitely book here again. Thanks.

Great stay for our group of six. Three bedrooms on three different levels, all with huge bathrooms. Loved being 60 or 70 feet from the big creek and breaking, fast water. We fished, played games, cooked, hot tubbed and were only 20-30 minutes from whitewater rafting on the Ocoee.

It's peaceful as it is beside a creek. We had a great stay and would stay again.

Booked this for a surprise b-day getaway with boyfriend. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous & very relaxing. Very close to shops & downtown. We can't wait to book this pace again in the future!!!

What an amazing stay we had...we have rented cabins in the past but this one tops our list, such a beautiful property, the management company was quick to answer any questions we had to make sure our stay was extraordinary.just listening to the stream from the porch melted our stresses away.

The property is well maintained, peaceful, and beautiful. From reservation to departure, communication and help from the property manager was excellent.

This is what being in the mountains is all about! Clean and well appointed with everything you need. Great touches and waterfront access was fantastic. WiIll definitely come back again the next time we are up there. Thanks for a great stay.

The property had everything we needed for a weekend of snow chasing and fun with the family. Plenty of space, gorgeous views, lots to do. Property management was very hospitable and caring. They offered to extend our stay due to the possibility of poor road conditions on the day of check out. We can’t wait to go back when it’s warm to take advantage of the water!

My family really enjoyed this property! We hung out next to the creek ,tubed down several times, went into McCaysville, Blue Ridge, Mercier’s and went white water rafting down the Ocoee . This house is super clean and we had plenty of linens. There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the scenery. We really enjoyed our short stay at this house and highly recommend it!
