Upon walking into the foyer of Southern Living Cottage, you’ll feel right at home. The conversation living room features a stunning rock gas log fireplace – a favorite among guests. Gather here to enjoy a movie on the flatscreen TV, which offers cable for a variety of channels. Want some fresh air? Walk onto the back porch to swing for a bit as you look out over the landscape of rhododendrons, hostas, and hemlock trees.
The main level also features a fully-equipped kitchen and dining room that comfortably seats 6 guests. Or you can dine outside on the screened porch while listening to the sounds of nature. The primary suite with a queen-size bed and full bathroom is on this level. The bedroom has a flatscreen TV with cable, along with easy access to the screened-in porch.
Walk upstairs to the open loft area to find a beautifully decorated bedroom with a full-size bed and private bathroom. Downstairs you’ll find a second queen bedroom with a flatscreen TV, along with a sitting area with a daybed. When you want some time in the great outdoors, step outside and walk down to the firepit. Southern Living Cottage is a beautiful property. Very clean and comfortable. We loved the screened in porch at night with the string lights and the small side porch with the swing. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I had the basement room, which was a bit chilly that first night. But, I found the small heater in the closet the next day and I was toasty warm through the nights. The home is a few minutes from town, but very quiet at night. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to get away in the mountains of Blue Ridge, GA. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
